    I ordered a product from Revolution Gear and Axle in December (Positraction unit for my truck) and the unit was very clearly damaged from shipping. Revolution Gear and **** agreed it was damaged, but would not send me a new unit until they received payment through ***. So I waited for over a week to find out that *** denied their claim because it was packaged improperly. Revolution then said they would not send me a new unit until they received the old one. As this part was for my daily driver, waiting nearly 3 weeks turn around for this part was not an option. They said the only other option was to place an order for a new unit and return the damaged unit, which they would refund when they received on their end. So now for nearly a month, the company has nearly $2000 dollars of my money and although they received the returned unit 2 weeks ago, they still have not refunded my money. I have made calls, and sent emails and texts to the customer service ***resentative to which I have still not received my refund. The customer service *** is very helpful and agrees the company should have refunded my money and agreed they are not doing the right thing. The company continues to drag this out without a refund. I have a tracking number of the returned/damaged part which I have listed below. It shows the package was received on their end on January 16th. Payment of $929.23 is well past due for a company that has made a lot of mistakes with very poor customer service.

    Initial order was placed on 12/20 and delivered on 1/2/2025. While working through the claim with ***, the customer purchased a replacement unit on 1/10 which delivered on 1/14, at this point he had the ability to repair this truck. From the $2K order, only 1 part was in the process of being reviewed due to the *** claim and our company did refund the customer $929.23 on 2/3/2025. *** did deny our claim, although packaging was not the issue and it was caused by *** handling, our company absorbed this financial loss and refunded the customer in full. This case has been resolved as of 2/3/2025. Please let us know if you require further details regarding this complaint.
