  I will start off by saying the staff at this bank, from behind the counter to the bankers themselves are great people. Always polite courteous, and understanding. Covid hit me hard and I fell behind On my auto loan, they worked with me as I scrambled to find a second job to catch up on my payments. Insert their rude arrogant recovery manager ****. While I understand its part of that job to be somewhat abrasive and harsh. Tearing someone down when they are struggling mentally, physically, and financially is not a way to motivate people. **** is one of the most despicable human beings *** ever had the misfortune of having a conversation with. I had a verbal agreement that he threw away over his feelings because I misspoke his name. While I understand there is a contractual obligation that I violated, the times were hardly in anyone's favor. You'd believe there would be some understanding after being a longtime customer, but ***** ego got bruised. If I was better off Id seek legal action for some of the things that were said to me, simply disgusting. Stay far away, because if you have a catastrophic life event and fall behind, you'll have to deal with that wretched human being ****.

  AE financed my car loan and I got stuck dealing with their crude attempt at customer service. I received a letter with the 1st payment being due a week prior to receiving it. I called right away to extend this payment... Surely it was a mistake they would take care of quickly. After getting put on hold again and again for an excessive amount of time. I was told they cant extend the due date that already past even if I received the letter 5 days over said due date. Honestly, I was shocked but, I still thought it had to be a mistake because *** never dealt with a reputable businesses in this manner. I got passed to *** who kept droning on about how it works between the dealership and finance companies all of which I couldnt have impacted from my end but, it was clear I was receiving their ramifications regardless. As he continued explaining why he couldnt do anything; I lost my patience. I just wanted to get off the call at this point so I made the payment over the phone. After I paid he sent a follow up email reiterating the explanation. I only asked for an email to set up autopay yet, he wanted to make it ******* clear that theyre incapable of making goodTalk about adding salt to the wound. Needless to say, its a lousy experience right from the start of our business relationship. Ultimately, I hope I can save at least one person from dealing with such a shady situation.
