I don't know where to start. This complaint is confusing. First let me start with the lies my employees are accused of making. My wife and I have owned this store since **** and no one that I know of has ever said that it was under new management. There is no reason to say that. So who's lying? Our employees have no reason to lie about how long we've had an animal. We also cannot predict how long an animal will live especially after it is out of our care. No store would guarantee an animal for that long, particularly an exotic animal. As far as I'm aware, we never received a call about any issues with the bearded dragon, this is the first time I heard of any issue with a breaded dragon that we sold around Christmas. Also, many of our pets are rescues, including the dragon that she purchased, so the only back ground info on the animal is only what we were told by the person who surrendered the animal and what we observe while it's in our care. We have no reason to lie, we are always upfront, and try to be as helpful as possible. we would rather not sell the animal than lie to make a sale. As far as the Breaded dragon being inbreed, that a ridiculous statement that an uninformed person would make. As far as her over paying by hundreds of dollars, she paid $168.75 So if she over paid by hundreds, then that means that we, according to her statement, should have paid her to take the animal. Also, we can charge whatever we need to, it's not up to ** to price shop for her. Many times cheaper is just that.

Now to address the rambling "Critters Pet Store in *********** is known to be a horrible and breeding puppy mill type of place" . We are actually a rescue and have been for over 10 years. Yes, in the past we did sell pure bred pedigree puppies, however, we had and still do have an excellent reputation. My wife and I work hard to make sure that every animal that leaves our store is in the best possible health and condition. Obviously there are always exception, like conditions that don't arise until after the animal leaves our care. As far as recent online reviews, we have a disgruntled ex-employee that has been spreading lies and getting her followers to give bad reviews many have never even been in the store.

We have been in business over 35 years. We would not be around so long in such a scrutinized and competitive  business if we did not do a good job.
