      I hired **** Schroeder to Dj my daughters wedding. Wedding was called off, but made arrangements for him to Dj another event in the future so no one was out any money. Paid 500.00 in 1/2024. He has since posted no longer doing dj services. Will not return texts, emails and phone message is full to get a refund

      On Oct 6 i entered into an agreement with Schroeder dj service for my wedding on Oct 12 we agreed on 500.00 for 6 hours he also assured me he would be there early we went over a song list and made sure to ask about a separate system for the ceremony located a short walk away from the reception

      On the day of the wedding he did show up early but then required help unloading and setting up he did not have a charger for his computer and said he only had about an hour of time for music unless we found him a cord I was able to find one but then he did not bring a speaker for music for us to walk down the isle I then had to find a speaker and download music on my phone for that then he did not have the music for our first dance and that had to be played off my phone and sounded static like he soon after about 730 said he was going to have to shut down due to bugs after knowing this was an outside wedding and reception we were able to get him to stay by finding fans and getting the bugs to stay away when my mother in law asked for the cord back that was brought by her sister he was hostile and she repeated that he needed to give it back to her and they exchanged words briefly about his performance and Inadequate performance that night and he began to yell at her the next day we met at ****** in Springfield to discuss the night before he began to be disrespectful to my husband and me to the point my his and went to wait in the truck we agreed he would repay 125.00 by nov 1 he has messaged me one time to let me know he was working on getting my money but after that has not answered my calls or messaged me back the agreed amount was put in writing and signed by me and **** Schroeder at this point I believe I'm entitled to a full refund and for his services to be investigated to keep this from happening to others

      On March 15, 2023 I paid Schroeder’s DJ Service $100 to provide uplighting for my wedding on 4/22/2023. On the day of the wedding, the DJ did not provide this service. He spoke with us that evening stating he charged us $115 less than what I actually paid, and that he was throwing in services “free”, but I was able to provide proof in his presence showing a $515 charge, as well as $110. The $500 & $100 charges were for the DJ services and uplighting, respectively. The extra $15 & $10 charges were card charges that we had no problem with. He later stated that there were not adequate outlets to do so. He then promised the return of the charge, $110 in total. This was for the $100 cost of the uplighting of the event and the $10 card fee charged to me at the time. By 4/25/2023, the money had not been returned, so I disputed the charge with my credit card company, who determined that the money should be returned to my account. I received notification stating that the merchant had 45 days to dispute my claim. I also left a public review of my experience with the DJ service. The DJ responded to this review, stating himself that the money was returned. Yesterday, 06/05/2023, 41 days after the claim was made, I received notification that Schroeder’s DJ service states that the services were still provided, and that I was being charged again. I attempted to reach out to the merchant myself via text and email with no response. I will provide documentation of that as well. I simply would like the $100 ($110 with card charge) returned to me, as we did not receive the services that were to be provided. He states the $100 would be for reception and uplighting, that service was not received. He states he returned that money, but then disputed the claim after stating this. His business phone number matches my records, I have proof of these conversations, as well as some of the phone calls that I saved in my voicemail. I will attach these as well.

      My name is **** ****** ********. On 6-6-2023 I filed a complaint against Schroeder’s DJ Service. After filing another dispute with my card company, I was able to receive the $110 refund a second time, so I do not need to continue to seek a refund or response from this company at this time.
