I had Illini out after having several other companies over the last 20 years almost every year. This is the first time that water doesn’t back up into my sink when running the dishwasher or laundry. And they charged less than all the previous companies.
    Should have started with Illini.
    Thanks Bill

I have used Illini before with no issues. The previous owner was a friend of ours and would always perform clean outs to our satisfaction. I contracted with Illini last fall to clean out our septic tank for proper maintenance. In June of this year I had them out again because the drains were not draining properly. Both trips were $200 each. In less than one month the drains were not functioning properly. I called them again. It was a Saturday and no one answered the phone or text. I had to call another company. When they arrived they indicated 48" of sludge and two feet of scum, the drain pipe to one side of the duplex was full, even though no one was living there since late April and the filed tile was clogged so bad that there was nowhere for water to exit. The fee for that company was $900, weekend rate and they spent about 3 hours there. When the owner was notified he indicated that the other company always over charges and bad mouths other companies. When I asked for a refund because Illini obviously did not do what they were contracted to do, I got no response. I have contacted them 3 times and they have chosen to take no responsibility.

A realtor hired this "business" to inspect our septic tank, as our house was on the market.
When we received the report that "septic failed" we were devastated first because we knew it was wrong and second, it was defamation of our house's reputation. When one states a negative opinion in a small neighborhood it spreads everywhere.
As we looked at the details in the report, they had written that the tank was "on the east side of the house, and to (sic) small."
We paid for a different company, in business for 50 years, to give us their report.
The gentlemen probed in all directions, had us flush and run water. They stated it was "triple A" perfect and the second largest they had ever seen! The lid was still sealed, so to their knowledge, it had not been inspected.
I do not want to cast aspersions where it is not warranted, but this fallacy of a report is the result of either a person off the street with no knowledge of directions or septic services, OR a company seeking a way to benefit monetarily buy selling a new system. ($8,000)
Again, I want to be fair, so please check reviews or the BBB prior to paying for a service. If you know their report is incorrect, pay for a second opinion.
The most difficult part of a fallacy report is the defamation.
