  I am very happy with my new walk in shower installation from Fox Valley. When I first called in ***** was talking to me like shes known me my whole life. The guys who installed my shower I cant remember their names but they did a great job and again treated me like a family member. It was a stress free project and I liked that.   It began with the Product Specialist, ******************* visiting our home twice and promising us that "No work would begin without a project manager visiting our bathroom project. (that never happened, we were told "it wasn't necessary") We ordered barn-door shower doors. I showed the Product Specialist a picture of the type of doors we wanted. *** said they would have to be a special order. We were never allowed to inspect or preview the doors prior to the installation. Once the doors were installed, my wife complained immediately while the owner **** and his team were still on the property. They installed a traditional barn-door shower unit. (one moving door) the glass partition nearest the faucet and the drain did/does not move. This is a great concern, inconvenience, and danger to my family and me. My wife is small and can not reach the controls without stepping into the tub. in addition, it is not what we described to ***. It is not what *** wrote on the contract ("BarnDoor Glass sliding Doors.(clear)"Also noted on the payment-contract as (BarnDoor style (clear) for which we paid $1000.00 for this special order. Weeks of calls and conversations with parties of this Company all to no avail. Seemingly we are at fault for their misunderstanding of what their Product Specialist communicated to them. We also had issues with poor caulking around the project and bubbles underneath the floor. (the latter was addressed by someone coming out and injecting glue under the tile to fill the bubbles) My wife and I are very dissatisfied with the shower door and question the stability of the floor.As to the door, the company offered to SELL us another standard shower door for $600.00. without giving us a credit for the $1000.00 door, which does not serve us.Why would I pay for another shower door when I didn't get the door I ordered initially? Only to end up with two shower doors, with only one bath/shower in this unit. We would never use this company again!

  ****************, I appreciate that you acknowledged how much effort we put into your project and how many trips we made to address your shower doors. It is correct that we installed the doors exactly as you had ordered them, thoroughly noted everything in your contract. Yes, these were custom doors made for your bathroom. I understand that you requested us to refund the doors, even though they functioned and looked perfect, zero issues, because you would like to have a different style. While we cannot refund custom made doors, which are perfect in every way as ordered, we did offer you to remove them for free, haul them away for free and install a new unit for free. Our charge was $200 less than our cost on the doors, no labor at all, no mark*** rather a discount UNDER our cost. This was a very reasonable solution and fair to all parties involved. You passed on this offer. I hope anyone who reads this one-star review understands that this is a matter of a single component of a much larger project and that our company did in fact do everything it was hired to do and did it very well, the work is beautiful. The shower doors we installed look perfect, function properly, match the contract exactly and will last for decades. As **************** mentioned, he had some touch **** caulking and a bubble under the floor, we returned and addressed these issues promptly and they are now done. Occasionally as silicone dries or a floor is walked on for a few days an issue could arise, movements or settling. We understand this and do thorough follow *** after installations to ensure the jobs are perfect. As for the shower doors, our offer still stands. ****************, you can take us up on it at any time. I hope we can work together to ensure that your whole family loves every component of this project, including the shower doors.

  Aside from being surprised by having to personally get a permit from my village, this company made everything pretty easy! If looking to purchase from them, home owners should check with their town regarding a permit for the work. This was the only issue I had. From the 1 st **** when they had to stop working due to not having a permit to ****'s group completing the install these folks were nice, patient and helpful through the entire process. ****** helped to arrange all appointments and confirming all questions. She was also very patient when I switched bathrooms and *** (the salesman) had to come out a 2nd time to measure! The *****'s Bubbles tub is fantastic and seems to definitely help my pain level! Even though a bit expensive, was totally worth it as I have MS and the tub has helped reduce my pain levels so much!Thank you for all of your hard work!
