I received a customers payments through QuickBooks in the amount of $21,670. QuickBooks closed my payments account for no reason at all. Then proceeded to still ask me to verify the payment 3 times which I did. After verifying the payment and spending over a week on the phone with customer service I was told they were gonna hold my payment for 90 days, mind you they still took their payment processing portion out of the payment. They also even provided a batch number for the payment but then removed it for no reason. I've since lost 3 contracts including 1 government contract so I called back and spoke with 4-6 different **** from the payment department every single 1 of them told me they escalated the case mind you the payment was made November 15th it's now December 3rd and I've still yet to receive my payment. I've since had to hired a lawyer in attempt to file a lawsuit against them. I buried my child 2 months ago which cost me a arm and a leg and after paying out of pocket to cover that and the customer's job. I haven't been able to work, feed my family, or anything. I had to have a army ***** pay to restore my phone service. The only thing QuickBooks would say is I'm sorry to hear that. There's nothing more we can do. When it comes to being a contractor if you accept card payment from your customers do not use QuickBooks they will use your money to scale their company while watching you fail and watching your business go under and then we'll offer no type of resources or advance payment even though there's no way it has taken almost a month to process one payment. My payment has even had a batch number at one point time which was removed. My payment has also gave three different deposits dates and never was deposited. Mind you the deposit dates were even after they supposedly close my account for no reason at all. I'm currently about to face a lawsuit that I'm gonna have to counter *** QuickBooks forInitial Complaint

I purchased QuickBooks online in 2019. I tried to cancel this service earlier this year and was told it was canceled. I called again in September and spent hours on the phone to cancel. I talked to a manger in customer service who assured me this time it would be canceled but I am still getting charged. The won't cancel it. I also cannot do it online as the email address to send the recovery information is not valid anymore (*****@titletowncrossfit). I have spent hours in October as well trying to cancel this and was assured it was canceled but got charged again. They simply won't cancel it. I am out hundreds of dollars for a service I cannot access.Initial Complaint

Our office was contacted by QuickBooks in this summer. They encouraged us to switch from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online. The Online version was offered at a substantial 75% discount and it was clear the company was trying to get businesses to move to their Online version. We have used a standalone version of QuickBooks Payroll for years with very few problems. When we made this switch to Quickbooks Online, the salesperson set up the company with a new QB Payroll core. I used the standalone QB Payroll through the end of the third quarter and canceled the subscription as of October 1, assuming I could pay the taxes for the third quarter and begin using the new QB Online Payroll Core for the fourth quarter. The 941 payroll taxes for September are still not paid. These taxes were always paid through QuickBooks after they sent a link via email for me to authorize the payment. I filed a third quarter 941 form that was generated for me after numerous calls to customer support that contained the wrong numbers. QuickBooks representatives tell me that aren't able to file my 941 monthly tax because it is past due. The also can't help me refile the erroneous 941 quarterly filing. The Maine State forms I have are incomplete or contain the wrong numbers. I paid QuickBooks to calculate my Federal and State taxes and they seem to have no interest in doing the job they were paid for. They are blaming me for the entries I made to my new account but their representatives were the ones who helped me to do this. I'm at wits end and don't know what to do. I just want to get the correct tax payments and filings made.Initial Complaint

I utilized the QuickBooks service to send an invoice to a client, who subsequently made a payment of $2,706.25 on 08/12/2024. However, QuickBooks indicated that the payment of $2,706.25 was pending and did not release the funds, requiring me to complete additional information to apply for their payment processing service. Later, I received an email stating that my application had been denied, preventing me from using their payment processing capabilities. Despite making multiple calls for assistance, I was unable to receive help. I was transferred to the payments support team, where a representative disconnected the call. They repeatedly informed me that the funds would be returned to the customer, yet the funds were never refunded. Currently, I am locked out of my QuickBooks account and have been informed that they cannot assist me in regaining access. Dealing with this situation has been extremely frustrating, and I am seeking assistance in resolving this matter.Initial Complaint

I have emailed and called several times with no response. In fact, I called customer service 5 times today. Once was told that she would need to research the problem and would call me back and never did. 4 more times, I called customer care afterward to follow up, only to be asked the same questions, go through the same mandatory problem solving steps, then be told it would need to be escalated and then on hold for a while before being disconnected. 4 times I was made to do this process. My problems are not answered or resolved. I am currently on hold with ******** (again) and they are completely clueless (as I write this, I was disconnected for a 5th timethis time from ********). There are so many errors with this switch and no one can answer anything. I am overcharged by United for some reason, employees that are new cannot access benefits at all, no deductions are coming out of paychecks, and new employees are not automatically sent enrollment information. The deduction setup and offering time of enrollment seem to be incorrect as well. Customer service is terrible; they lack knowledge and access to be able to answer any questions, state they will research it, and then never respond. I am making formal complaints through the BBB and other agencies. I do not know what else to do. My employees are not able to access medical care and this could become a legal issue, as it has been over a month and medications cannot be refilled. I was also told that I should be able to access my company information through a *** portal that I do not have access to; so I do not believe this to be accurate information. There is no place to complain formally about support--only the recommendation to call support.Hoping this finally reaches someone who can solve these issues.****Initial Complaint

I was paid by a customer for an invoice. Because it was a large payment QuickBooks put a delay on the deposit. I had to submit documentation to release the funds. The documentation was approved and funds we supposedly released and I was promised to see the money in my account within 2 business days. We are now over a week in and I cant get any answers or help with releasing this payment. This has put me behind paying vendors, subs and myself. I have also lost time for ordering products for my client. I have spent hours on the phone with quick books and I havent gotten a single answer as to where my money is. Please help me.Initial Complaint

We have a terminated employee that was the primary admin. I followed the instructions and sent the articles and permiossion from the owner along with his id's to update the primary admin but they haven't read the articles and are requested someone else's permission and ID. We currently have a risk exposure with the terminated employee having access to our company information. We need the primary admin updated as soon as possible. Attached are all the documents that were sent to them.
