    I received a bill for $1398. from Governor State University (GSU) and it said for me to contact them within 30 days or the bill will go to the collection agency. I attended *** for a year through my job employment program and they paid the cost. I did not know my job had not paid for my 2022 ************* tuition. I called the school several times and left messages for someone to return my call concerning the bill 3 weeks before the 30 days ended. I received no response from GSU. I even emailed the accounts department at ***. I received no response. Four days after the 30 days was up, GSU finally answered the phone and I was told the bill was sent to collections and I have to pay an extra fee of $481.00. I did exactly what the letter from GSU said and I never received a return phone call or email from them concerning the bill so I can pay the $1,389. Now the bill is in collections and a $481. fee has been added. I want to pay them the $1,398.00. I do not believe I should have to pay the fee due to me reaching out to them several times before the 30 days was up and not getting a response.

    Please see email below regarding the biology class *** academic advisor ****************** advised me-*** student *********************** to take the biology class in 2018. So, I took the biology class at Prairie State College summer 2018 to transfer back into ***-Govenors State University. Now this year recently, *** academic advisor *****************, *********************, and ******************* told me in writing that I didnt need to take the biology 4 credit class. Overall, I was mid-advised by *** academic advisor ***************************** and now I need *** to reimburse me 4 college credit hours and university fees back to my IVG-*******************, and refund me *********************** $7 for the college transcript I had sent to ***-Govenors State University. This is the second time ************************* academically mid-advised me-back in 2020 *** had to refund me three college credits for a telling me to take a media class I didnt need.Lastly, I had foot surgery a few months ago and didnt have summer classes at *** this year and didnt have access to my email in the middle of May 2022 until July 2022. My doctor also gave me a note 5/25/22 stating to take off from school or work until 8/30/22.     That is because it is not our business!  We have called and told your people the complaint is for Governor State University as spelled out in the complaint.  We have turned this over to our legal division and you will be  earing from them.  Disappointing that the complaint is directed at us when it is clear in your own notice where it should have been sent.  Please correct so i do not have to waste more time with your error.
