I been doing business with this place since October 2024 up to current not one scam until date 17 June 2025. I been scam at the highest level in Automotive Mechanic Shop. I brought in my truck zero estimates on the work and brought truck in for minor work that would cost me about $1,000.00 to $2,500.00. Instead got a big bill of $7,211.00 took liberty to add more repairs without my consent zero phone calls, zero text messages, zero emails in order to confirm the big bill. Furthermore zero signature from my end of any kind of approval from me to move forward on $7,211.00 bill. This is just another example why trust is so hard with auto mechanics.

    Business Response

    Date: 07/14/2025

I just received this letter today.  Assuming it came Saturday in the mail.  In response to this complaint, I had no idea there was an issue.  He never said one thing about there being any issue at all when they came to pick up the truck and trailer.  He was in here in the beginning and was taken over and shown all of the problems except for the emergency brake shoes, which when completing other repairs was found.  And as for the lighting issue and the fuel issue, we where correcting repairs that some one else had attempted to repair.  And he was notified of this.  I just could not give an estimate on time or parts.  They have bought used trucks and trailers and want them repaired to take back home.  We had talked with ***** different times and explained we would treat them as they were our own so we would have no issues during travel.  He was ok with this.  We also put on the heavier parts due to the equipment that they were going on.  As we had done on all of the other previous jobs.

As he stated they had been doing business with us for a few months.  And every time they seemed to be happy.  When I would call him to come in, we were always told to proceed.  We also save all old parts for customers to see.  We charge by book time.  And write everything out on our invoices, which I am sure you have come across a lot of invoices that have just Labor and an amount.

It did take them 3 days to pay the bill with credit cards.  None seemed to have enough credit to pay.  I even tried lower amounts on each one to get it taken care of for them.  I feel if they had questions that they should have addressed them at this time.  But not one word was said.  We have noticed that they have not been back since then.  Normally they would just show up or call and we would work them in as soon as we could.  We are 3 to 4 weeks booked ahead.  I am sorry that he feels that we have scammed him as he put it.  I do not get were that came from.  And never was the repairs estimated to him at ******* to 2500.00.  Maybe at a shop that puts on cheap parts.  If I need to address him in person I would be happy to meet with him.  But as I said, NOT ONE WORD WAS EVER SAID.
