      CDW signed me up to a mailing list without my consent. They are an I.T. solutions company and I have absolutely nothing to do with I.T. so why did I even end up on this list when my email isn't even published. There needs to be stricter rules preventing companies like this from signing individuals up for their B2B spam without the sole decision to opt in.

      I made an order for a ***** ASA and after 2 months, sit's still on hold. The sales agent ********************* was emailed 4+ times to inquire about status and so far no responses. Calling the main customer services they stated there is no method of payment. I told them this is impossible because I ordered on the web and it does not let me order without listing a credit card or method of payment. They asked me to email ********************* again or her supervisor. So far, no response. This is as frustrating as it gets!! Terrible service.

      CDW MOTTO:: DENY ********************** IT ON THE CUSTOMER!!Mr. W....spoon (Sales Manager),I can't recall such ineptness from a company and either gross oversight or just plain incompetence from a "sales" employee, ******************. Talk about blaming it on the consumer! I've attached a copy of the initial interaction in addition to chat #****** which referenced the correct serial number. ********************** NEVER HAD AN INCORRECT SERIAL#!Below, March 10 you will notice the CORRECT SERIAL# was exchanged with ****************** as well as chat text ****** where the CORRECT SERIAL# was exchanged at 1:09:46 PM.It's bad enough that the employee doesn't even know what he's selling, identified on line 1:00:24pm of that same chat conversation, but to blame it on the customer is just BAD BUSINESS!       We wanted IP phones and sales person sold us 5 ***** **** IP phones. Once we moved to our bigger location the phone vendor came out and told us the phones were NOT compatible with our service. The sales person never mentioned that unlike cell phones IP phones have to be compatible. The sales person said they could do an exchange minus the 35% restocking fee We sent the items for exchange and and now the sales person will NOT respond. I have 5 ***** phones that have NEVER been used and still in boxes.

      My ********************* received a quote from our new account manager with CDW-G for a $950 ** Monitor. It said thank you for your interest and attached a quote for us to submit for a Purchase Order. The department called me, and I called the account manager. He said that it was their way of sending out promotions/offers. I explained to him that it was unprofessional and misleading. Instead of creating a PO as it had asked, my ********************* asked me if it was legit, which it was not.

      7/10 stars would be more accurate. This Thanksgiving I noticed they had a Mac Studio in stock on their website and wanted to place an order for 1-day shipping (would have been a custom build otherwise). It was the top of the line Mac Studio. The purchase was so expensive I guess they do background checks if you pay by card (verify your identity and what not). Five days later I had to cancel the order which still hadn't shipped out. If you read other reviews it'd seem like if you canceled an order they would just keep your money and run, but they actually just cancelled the order. Was a pretty straight forward process. To summarize the experience into bullet points:* If it says "in stock" on their website it doesn't necessarily mean you will get it if you order 1-day shipping * Their office hours are between 7am-7pm CT, but their office tends to close earlier than that (around maybe 5:30pm CT), but I've called them at 7:30am CT and they answer almost immediately (that's actually impressive for any business)* When you get someone on the phone they make a conscious effort to take care of you * If nobody is there, the phone system will sometimes keep you perpetually waiting for someone to pick up Even though I didn't technically complete an order I still think it's worth noting this is not a 1-star business. My experience wasn't terrible, but it wasn't excellent either. I think if they make it so more information is available on their website (didn't even know there was an issue with payment until I called them to ask when it would ship out), if they made the office hours more transparent (it's okay to go home early around holidays, I understand, but post that somewhere), and perhaps a disclaimer about what "in stock" actually means, they could very well be a 4 or even 5 star business. I could see myself ordering something else in the near future, if perhaps a smaller purchase next time to ensure a smooth transaction.

      Called main number to get assigned an account manager. Every time I called the main number, had to wait a long time (over 20 min). Then the call answered but no response on the line. Tried this several times with the same results. I would not use CDW after this experience. This is the case of a company getting too big and unable to service their potential customers.

      I ordered a RAM update for my laptop and the representative on their website recommended an out-ot-date RAM which did not fit my laptop. I had to re-order the correct one, and now they won't credit me for their mistake. This has been going on for months now. I finally had to place a dispute with my credit card company. Hopefully this will get resolved.Their customer service is very poor.
