    I contacted Midland for a quote. I had set no appointment other than asking if the issue I have on my property falls within their scope. While I was at work in a meeting I see a missed call. Within 30 I see some random stranger go up to my door and proceed to trespass on my property, while all i can do is watch on my ring camera. I asked him to leave but received no response as he preceded to trespass. I contacted the police right away and they show me that someone from Midland was the intruder based on the card left on my door. I called Midland right away to get clarification on why someone was at my property without an appointment and as I explain to the receptionist the scare it caused me. She said it was the owner and that I was exaggerating the situation. She said that she heard him leave me a voicemail. I checked my voicemail from the owner *** only asking for more details on the project. Absolutely nothing about asking if its ok for him to come and stop by. I contacted owner *** and told him it was that it was highly unprofessional and in appropriate to show up and walk around my property without **********. His only response was that he called (30min prior) and rang the door bell. I had to explain that ringing a doorbell doesn't grant ********** to open my gate door and walk around my property without **********. He goes on to explain that it actually happens alot at his company and this is the first time it's been an issue and asks for me to see his perspective. I felt no empathy from *** for the scare he gave me. Not once had I had a contractor show up unannounced and trespass. I hope *** understands that going on someone's property without ********** is considered trespassing and is a criminal offense.

    The client called in to have ** look over a small hole in her foundation. She was immediately responded to because her home was close to our office and shop. I called as she described in her complaint and left a message asking for more details prior to arriving at her home. I rang the door bell and waited for a response and received none. I then put a business card in the door. Prior to leaving I noted the damage wall section within plain view of the front porch, I  took measurements and a picture of the exterior damage she originally spoke about and left immediately. I have completed over **** estimates for Chicagoland clients and I have never had someone call us trespassers or intruders after requesting us to provide a free estimate for a repair project. Slandering a company for providing a complimentary service call to review prior damage seemed a little egregious. We have an A+ business rating for a reason, we value our time, our clients time and care about our clients property and the skilled work we provide. We hope are response explains how invested we are in providing a quality service.
