    Stay far away from Guard Warranty! This company is a complete scam designed to take your money while offering little to no real coverage. When you try to submit a claim, they conveniently hide behind endless "exclusions" to deny you the service you paid for.Even when they are supposed to cover something, they manipulate the payout by using a third-party adjuster who "adjusts" the amount down to a fraction of what you're actually entitled to. You're left footing the bill for repairs that should have been covered.Their customer service is unhelpful, their process is frustrating, and their promises are worthless. Save yourself the headache and put your money toward a real solutionthis company will leave you stranded when you need them most!

    Dear ******,We understand your frustration and appreciate the opportunity to clarify your claim. Upon review, your technician confirmed that the backup in your sewer line was located outside your home. While your policy covers plumbing issues within the home, coverage for exterior sewer lines requires the optional exterior sewer/septic line add-on.Additionally, your technician specified that the issue was caused by calcium buildup in the piping. As outlined in your contract, calcium buildup is not a covered condition under our policy.For reference, please see Section C.11. Plumbing System/Stoppage in your contract:COVERED: Leaks and breaks of water, drain, gas, waste, or vent lines (except when caused by freezing or roots); toilet tanks, bowls, and mechanisms; permanently installed interior sump pumps; stoppages/clogs in drain and sewer lines up to 100 feet from the access point (mainline stoppages require an accessible ground-level cleanout).NOT COVERED: Stoppages and clogs in drain and sewer lines that cannot be cleared by cable; issues caused by roots, collapsed, broken, or damaged lines outside the homes foundation; calcium buildup or flow restrictions due to rust, corrosion, or chemical deposits; and other exclusions as listed in your contract.We hope this provides clarity on why we were unable to approve coverage for this claim. If you have any further questions, please feel free to review your contract or reach out for additional assistance.

    I have been struck by the fact that there does not appear to be human beings responding to this strictly online communication. They have a complex model to deal with repairs and one never receives the name of a person. They have been quick to deny service requests. And, they never give a name or a phone number. What other conclusion can be reached other than it is totally AI. Additionally, the realtor gives input into both approvals and denials. Very weird warranty company that never heard about until I felt with ****************** and was not given a choice!

    My wife and I and the technician who fixed the problem were very pleased with Guard. I highly recommend them. Guard was immediately and fully responsive to our on-line and telephonic contacts. The technician complemented the streamline nature of the process which limited his involvement in approval and administrative matters. Well done. Thank you
