    AAMCO *************************************** ****************************************************************** Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Negligence and Demand for Resolution To Whom It May Concern,I am writing to formally address a grave concern regarding the recent service performed by your shop. AAMCO replaced the transmission in my vehicle; however, during a subsequent oil change at MIDAS, I was informed that the vehicles subframe was severely rotted and posed a significant safety ********* is clear that this issue should have been apparent during the transmission replacement process. AAMCO's failure to inspect or inform me of such a critical problem not only demonstrates negligence but also jeopardized my safety and that of others on the road. According to the technicians at MIDAS, this omission reflects a concerning lack of thoroughness and professionalism, further tarnishing AAMCOs credibility.This situation has compelled me to retain legal representation. My attorney will be handling this matter moving forward, should a resolution not be promptly achieved. As a first step toward resolving this issue, I demand the following:1.A full refund for the transmission replacement. I would not have invested in such a repair had I been informed of the subframe's unsafe condition.2.A resolution to address the subframe issue, either through repair or other means at no additional cost to me.This is a serious matter, and I expect AAMCO to act responsibly and promptly. If I do not receive a satisfactory resolution within 10 business days, my attorney will escalate this matter through all appropriate legal channels, including filing complaints with consumer protection agencies.

    Ms. ****** contacted our shop by phone at which time our manager requested that she bring the vehicle in so that we could immediately visually inspect the vehicle.  Our manager also offered to arrange to have the vehicle transported to the shop.  Ms. ****** refused our offer and declined to bring the vehicle in instead demanding an immediate commitment to resolve any issue, sight unseen.  Our offer to inspect the vehicle stands which includes honoring the terms of any applicable warranty which may apply for our original repairs.  We request that this file be marked "answered" and closed.

    Date of transaction: 11/18/2022 Invoice: I130024 AAMCO put in a Custom Rebuilt Transmission with an Exchanged Rebuilt Torque Converter with a 18 Month/18,000 Mile or ****** Km limited Warranty. The vehicle was driven 500 miles when the transmission started to grab. The vehicle was seen by a different Auto service company who informed me of a frosty discoloration of the transmission fluid. The vehicle was taken back to AAMCO where the service provider informed me of water being in the transmission because it had a light pink milkshake color which voided the Warranty.

    ************** transmission became damaged after being exposed to flood conditions introducing water into the powertrain system.  Our warranty expressly covers failure of parts or workmanship. Although the water damage voided the warranty, we offered a discount to help resolve the matter as a customer ********************** gesture. ********** declined this offer.  Although the damage was caused by an outside occurrence, we hope ********** will allow us to resolve the issue with a discounted repair. Failing that, we request the file be closed and marked "unresolved".

    My car is being serviced at this location AAMCO Transmission and I am having a communication problem with this business servicing my car. This company is trying to hustle me, and not following the agreement on there wab site.Free tow. With major repair.Trying to hustle a storage fee/ my car is being serviced. Transmission repair.Refused to continue repairs when I question sevice.I need help ASAP.
