    Feb 14, 2025 Puchased 2001 ****** Seqouia SUV, salesman ****. Fortune Motor Group, Waukegan Il. Told him would be driven daily, business vehicle. Possible towing. Drove it home, 2 or so weeks take it trailer supply shop. Request someone take a quick look for safety. Immediatley, one glance tells me totally unsafe to operate on public thoroughfares. 2 other shops confirm this. One even provided brief written report. Frame rot so bad, minor collision could be fatal. 95% comprimised in large areas.Gas tank ready to potentially drop off any moment. Bad pot hole, entire read end of vehicle could fail(basically fall off) After 10 days or so claiming owner on 'spring break' ignoring my complaint and the fact that I cannot operate vehicle, doing rentals. Dealer finally contacts me. *** envlope of photocopies, State Statutes governing as is auto sales, contract I had signed, as is verbiage highlighted. If I did not take it for inspection, 3 different ways, vehicle could malfunction causing serious injury or fatality. Office manager passed on message. I told her I was unable to operate vehicle, leasing. Totally unconcered, that they had essentially sold me scrap vehicle...owner sends me ridiculous insult of statute, "AS IS" Sale. Frame beyond repair. Replacement, $12-$15,000. All shops took one glance to see extent of rot. Dealer had to see this too. Fraud. Severe breach of public trust, ethics and safety. Seeking full timely ********* excuse for this dangerous misrepresentation....

    ***** P. ***** purchased a 2001 ****** Sequoia VIN# ***************** ($3499) with ******* miles on February 14, 2025.

    ***** P. ***** found 2001 ****** Sequoia VIN#***************** online at our website **************************** which showed numerous photos of the vehicle. ***** P. ***** called salesman **** to schedule an appointment upon arrival. He made a thorough inspection of the vehicle as well as a test drive.  It was clear there was excessive rust on this vehicle, that is 24 years old with over 160K. ******** was satisfied with the condition and continued with the purchase, knowing full well it was AS IS and shown. After 45 days we were contacted by ******** demanding a full refund and were told to pick up the vehicle in *********, which was not an option. We value our customers needs and try our best to remain honest and transparent before, during and after the sale. We will continue to provide our customers with the information they need or suggest a third-party inspection to maintain our integrity and excellent reputation.

    I bought a car from this company the claimed they fixed it but it turns out the put a bandage on it and didnt fix it at all

    We believe ***** is an aquaintance of ********************* who purchased an 11 Land Rover on 08-10-20 with 134k and was last at our service **** in March 23 with over 180k there is no pending repair according to our records.

    I bought a car from them on Saturday April 22, 2023. I drive home and noticed as its getting dark out that my lights were somewhat dim. I got home and tried all the lights and found out the one in the passenger side main headlight was out. I immediately contacted salesman via text and let him know about this issue. I was told to contact them Monday April 24, 2023. I did just that and was told if I was local they would change bulb for free. I had the light replaced at Car X on Monday April 24, 2023. I called the dealership with the total price I was charged for this. I was told they were not going to reimburse me these money because it was too high for a light bulb replacement. I tried to talk to the guy to explain the total included the light plus labor. I am very upset and frustrated because this shouldve been fixed before it was put in inventory to sell. I just want them to make this right.

    This vehicle was inspected before by our sevice ***** and had all lights in working order before the sale. If the headlight went out after inspection is entirely possible but unfortunately due to the customers location she was unable to have our service ***** replace the bulb...

    We are not responsible for the repair done after the sale at a mechanic other than our own...the vehicle passed inspection before sale and the lights were also in working order.
