    I purchased a membership at the West Chicago location for my son. He no longer uses the membership and we no longer have a relationship. I need to cancel the membership but the club is insisting he comes in. He will not. I was told if I cancel the payments from my card the membership will continue & charges and fines will accrue. I just want this membership cancelled, my monthly payments ceased, and no further accrual on the account. It is extremely difficult to reach any corporation contact at Planet Fitness.

    My nephews ******** and ******************* who are high school students were hired at Planet Fitness and started working in September of 2021 at West Chicago, ** location. Before working both boys had basic (classic) membership at another Planet Fitness location (************, **). Once they were hired and worked for 3 months they were given free BLACK CARD membership through working at Planet Fitness in West Chicago. So there personal membership was cancelled and they were given Black Card Membership for free. However they were let go of the job in February 2022. The main issue is that after they were let go by planet fitness, their membership were not terminated. So both boys went to their local planet fitness and spoke with the manager ******* and he said it will be taken care. However since March 2022 to present August 2022, one of the boy's ********'s has been charged monthly $22.99 for the BlackCard membership and the money has been taken out. Both the boys went again to talk to the manager and he said there's mix up and it's taken care. However, currently it shows that ****** is signed up BLACKCARD Membership, which is NOT true, and somehow the money is being taken out from his brother ********'s account. I am requesting BBB to investigate and resolve this issue. We want both boys account terminated immediately and requesting 5 months of fees Planet fitness took out. $22.99 x 5= $114.95. If you need anything from me or my boys please let me know. I am very disappointed with this situation and local manager has not resolved this issue.
