  Great customer **********************. Great communication. Reasonable prices. Certified ComEd EV charger installer. Accurate estimate. Knowledgeable tech. Stuck to promised arrived time. Finished early. I was even allowed to pay via ACH without fees. The tech even did a follow up call to make sure the charger was working for me, even though the charger itself was out of scope. Highly recommend.

  Have always had excellent experiences. They maintain my generator and did some electrical work for my old 1955 home. They were timely, clean and reasonably-priced. So glad I found them!

  I contracted with Oakwood Electric to install a ceiling fan in a location that did not have electrical access. Their quote was reasonable and *****.the electrician, was outstanding. He was on time, courteous, speed tarps over the floor and furniture. Once locating an outlet where he could get electricity, from he ran the sires without cutting an additional hole into the ceiling. He carefully cut the hole for the box only. He let the living room in the same condition he found it and offered to help move furniture back.This is not the first time I have use Oakwood. They installed and service my Generac generator. I have had nothing but positive experiences with the staff and electricians. I recommend them for any electrical project you may have.

  The electricians that came out to my home for the ** charger install project were incredibly cordial and knowledgeable. I was impressed with their ability to work efficiently together and did an excellent job on the install. They were highly professional and would recommend Oakwood Electric & Generator to any prospective customers.

  Cancelled my appointment couple hrs prior. I had to stay at home and lost one day of my work.Showed up on next appointment outside the window given to me. Luckily I was at home.Didnt walk me through the process.Didnt ask my permission to change different parts or talked about the parts needed.There was a discrepancy in the rate given to me on the phone than the technician charged me for trouble shooting.

  Unfortunately, we had an employee call in sick so we had to reschedule the appointment. The customer was quoted the hourly rate to troubleshoot the generator. The generator hadn't been maintained in many years. It is recommended that it gets the annual maintenance every year and the battery changed every 3-5 years. The battery was installed in 2013 (9 years ago) When our tech opened up the generator, he told the homeowner that the battery exploded. The customer told the technician just to fix the generator. The tech had to go get additional parts because it was in such poor condition. When he came back, the homeowner had left. We replaced the battery, replaced the battery charger and replaced the battery ports. I am sorry that the homeowner misunderstood the fee's.
