    My husband (*****************************) and I contracted ***** with MCH Landscaping and Stonework in June 2022 for a patio and propane gas fire pit setup at our property in *******, **. The job was completed with the exception of delivering the lava rocks for the fire pit, and we paid them in full in June 2022 (receipts attached). In October 2022, ***** delivered half of the lava rocks we paid for and we attempted to use the fire pit for the first time, at which time we discovered an issue with the gas propane set up. ***** was not able to make it out to fix the issue before winter, but did come out in May 2023, at which point he promised us in writing that he would be out to fix the fit pit by July 13, 2023, and if he could not, he would refund us the $1,760.00 we paid for the gas set up (communication attached). ***** never came out to fix the fire pit by July 13 and has ceased communications with us since. On July 19, we asked ***** refund us as he promised and mentioned that our next step was to file a complaint with the BBB if we could not resolve the issue between us (communication attached). We have attempted to contact him several times since and he has not responded as of today, August 14. If we receive the refund, we will consider the issue resolved with no further action required.
