    A-1 was hired to replace a driveway and back walk-out stoop. When the job was completed, there were several areas that weren't done correctly. Sloppy work, uneven near the stoop, cracking already. I voiced my complaint to *****************. He agreed - his words, 'they know better". He sent 2 workers to the site to make repairs. The supposed repairs are not right - still not a job that should be up to minimal standards. Still very unhappy with the end results.

    Hi ***************,

    I was able to stop by and take a closer look at the issues that you have brought to our attention. To be perfectly clear, when I stated that my guys "know better" I was referring to them leaving the job site a mess (i.e. not cleaning up chunks of concrete, not putting your retaining wall back together, not cleaning off the expansion joint). I do not see any issue with the concrete flatwork. The driveway itself looks nice and meets our standards. However, the stoop is not our best work. If I am understanding your complaint correctly, this is what you take issue with. The crack in the cove of the step and the sloppy finishing on the sides are sub-par. I apologize for the lack of quality control. To remedy this, I can offer you a refund for the price of the stoop, or I will replace the stoop at no additional cost to you. Please let me know how you'd like to proceed.
