I am writing to file a complaint against Marco's Pizza and ********************************* regarding a potential breach of privacy. My interactions with both companies have left me deeply concerned about the handling of my privacy. The sequence of events unfolded as follows:My engagement with Marco's Pizza began with a direct message on Instagram. I initiated contact with the company seeking information related to a recent pizza experience.Following the initial contact, a representative reached out, who identified himself as being with Marco's Pizza. Our communication primarily revolved around resolving a customer service issue related to my recent experience. At the end, I simply asked if I could have an email to someone in their legal department.Subsequently, without my explicit consent, I was contacted by an individual with the signature in their email of *********************************, dba Marco's Pizza, which is the company who owns that location I was speaking with. Despite not providing consent for my email correspondence to be accessed, he informed me that he had reviewed my email thread, which contained private information. My interactions were initiated with Marco's Pizza, and I expected that my communication would remain within the confines of that company. The potential privacy breach may also constitute violations of privacy laws and other laws, particularly in the jurisdiction of Cook County, ********.In reviewing the privacy policies of both Marco's Pizza and *********************************, I found they are allowed to share private info between each other, but in no indication does it say that sharing an email thread between the two companies is permissible. I also spoke with HR and they too said there was nothing in the policy and said that it's just something they do. I'd love to get a hold of someone about this incident.Thank you for your attention to this matter.-Matt
