    At the end of 2017 ***************** dug and completed a basement for ** at *****************************************************. We paid $20,000.00 dollars for this. At the time the only thing we noted was one wall was bowed inward, but he assured us it would not leak, and would be stable. The basement was fine until October 8th of ******************************** numerus areas and leaking severely, and the wall started to bow more. We contacted him and he tried several things over the years, but to no avail. Finally we contacted his insurance carrier, *************** with the claim-no. CLM0000021287. Contact person; **********************************, Senior Claims Representative, *********************************,, *****************************************. Direct Phone/Fax: ************ On July 1 2022, ******** denied the claim stating multiple reasons, lack of gutters, and lack of slope. The house sits on a hill on a slope with the lake being below us at least 500 feet. The house has gutters.We recently had ***** basement staff evaluate and fix the basement. ********************* of ***** basement identified the lack of tile, bowing of the long basement wall, and lack of drainage pipes which caused the issue. ***** basement fixed the drainage problem and secured the bowing wall for $19,986.72. We have financed this amount so ***** basement is paid in full as of 10/3/2022.Restitution would be to my wife and I for the amount of $19, 986.72.
