I purchased a car in ******** Indiana it had an open recall which was not disclosed to me and I didn't even make it to my home in ******** which is not even 30 miles I believe I called the company they would not reverse the loan they also told me there was only one owner now there's two owners was on the Carfax which I should have checked but I didn't and they will not do anything to help me they told me to take it to a **** dealershipBusiness Response

This customer signed an AS-IS form upon purchase and was given the option to purchase an external warranty alongside signing a waiver of warranty stating we do not offer any in-house warranties, further pressing the matter that everything is purchased AS-IS. We do not check for recalls as part of regular protocol. We do not have a mechanic on staff and it is stated both on our website and in multiple places in our office that we do not have a mechanic on staff and that we encourage all customers to take the vehicle they're interested in for a pre-purchase inspection, which this customer declined to do. The Carfax was shown to the customer and does state that the vehicle is a one owner vehicle. As for the loan on the vehicle, the financing was done through the customers own bank and we have nothing to do with the loan once the customer leaves our office with the vehicle. This customer was told to take the vehicle to a **** dealership because that is what is done for recalls if/when there is one. Recalls are fixed free of charge at the bigger dealerships, we can not do it here.Initial Complaint

I went Dec 2 2024 and bought a 2008 dodge gmc truck red after driving it and asking husband on phone about it I asked if there was anything wrong with it I was told the transfer case need work told husbandnandnhe said the transfer case was do able if I really likes truck well I signed some papers but I didn't sign warrenty papers I started having problems fast oil leaking like alot the electrical in truck is messed up door locks don't work and you have to do it manually the engin stays at 1 and a half rpm the rust omg I thought they had put the no its totaly rusrf and cab corners and the bed they puyting a luninng in to cover up rust this is a nightmare what was a birthday present has turned ugly these youg things to leap it from rusying it's like s black sleeve on all 4 fender ***** they lied about it and the driv shaft completely missing they are wrong I still have no title and not signing no papers for this band of thesis I heard others calling and complaining and they would make it right with them either please make them get this right with meCustomer Answer

Every customer, including Ms ******* signs a waiver of warranty upon purchase stating they acknowledge we do not have any dealer warranties and that they are not interested in buying a warranty, which they would have been offered at an additional cost. They also would have had plenty of time to inspect the vehicle for visible rust etc. We allow for customers to take vehicles for pre-purchase inspections, which was not done in this case. As for the title, this complaint was made merely 8 days into the 30 days we have to get the customer a title, which they also are aware of and signed documents acknowledging. The title was still delivered in a timely manner, being delivered on December 28, within our 30 day window. We do our very best to accommodate for unforeseen problems but we unfortunately can not accommodate buyers remorse and hope that will be taken into consideration.

I bought a 2006 GMC ****** 2500 HD extended cab on 5/4/2024 from Driven Motorworks with ****** miles on it. I found out that it has the wrong cluster in the truck which read the miles I purchased it for but are not the actual mileage on the truck. I would like the full amount paid for it back and too keep the truck.Title reads actual miles however the cluster has been replaced and is not correct for the model year.Initial Complaint

On June 6, I went to driven motorsports after reading their ad about this 2010 GMC terrain and how it had been well-maintained and it was a safe reliable vehicle from their ad And only rust on the rockers on June 10 I take it to mechanic and was immediately called and told I need to take it back and get my money back. This car was not safe the excessive rust on the pinch rails and the control arm They even wrote out a used card check at least 13 things on it that this vehicle needed. They also noticed where they tried to s**** some of the ***** pieces on so they didnt fall off. My husband contacts the dealer for him to tell him that we bought it as is with no warranty so basically whatever good luck, their ads were misleading and untrue This vehicle is unfit for intended purposes and failed to disclose all these issues And show bad faith and unfair dealings to resolve the situation. This car has not been driven upon advisement of the mechanic I was told for two days this guy was gonna call me back and then he finally does and tells me that I bought it as it is not trying to resolve the problem their lies and misrepresentation of this vehicle. I was told by the sales person ****. This was the best car on the lot. I bought it on a Thursday the sixth. It went to the mechanic on Monday the 10th and has been sitting there every since. The excessive rust underneath you cannot fix I feel I was taken advantage of being a 50 year old woman from out of town trying to buy a reliable vehicle for my daily driving and to haul my grandkids around. Its sickens me that there is no honest people in this business or at this business. These people are nothing but trash and pulling scams on people. ******** also said looks like this cars been sitting in water for a while. Wish I Wouldnt have been such a trusting person and yes thats on me, but this vehicle should never have been sold by any reputable dealer and thats how I feel about their character. Disgusting and disgusted!!
