    I entered a contract with *** on November 13 to replace my roof, gutter system and drywall/paint in a water damaged room, the laundry room, with a 30 year shingle warranty and 10-year workmanship warranty through ***. I paid 50% up front of $12,230. The roof was replaced on November 27. On the 28th, I heard their building was for sale and they were going out of business, not from *** but from someone else. This meant the 10-year workmanship warranty through them would not be honored. When I questioned the office manager, she said they were going to pay $300 for an extended warranty through the shingle company Certainteed for me. In researching the warranty, it has a low 1 rating and several complaints. This warranty isnt comparable when *** has a 5 star rating. I am a return customer and with my last roof they came out promptly 7 times to repair leaks, which would have cost me at least $1400 without the warranty. I am asking *** for a credit for the warranty, but they are offering $300. The warranty in the contract is worth much more to me as a consumer.

    Everything was settled with *************** immediately.  She was given what she asked for and she paid her final bill in full.

    She was supposed to contact you to let know that all has been settled and she is happy with the decisions made.
