    I went to see Help U Hear on 1/24/2023 about a new hearing aid, my insurance covers up to ***** for 1. Help U Hear helped me with a hearing aid and had me pay $498.00 up front. No problem, they sent in to the insurance and insurance says I only owe $1,002.00, told Help U Hear this and they said insurance didn't pay us enough I need to fight insurance to get them to pay more. I have contacted my insurance company several times and they say no that's all I should pay. I setup a monthly plan with Help U Hear since July paying $100 a month for a total of ***** just to get this resolved, today should've been my last payment but now Help U Hear is saying no and that I need to finish paying the rest and I still owe over $900. I contacted my insurance again and they have been trying to contact Help U Hear to get my issue resolved but now Help U Hear keeps transferring the calls to another person and the phone either goes dead or just constantly rings so my insurance hasn't been able to help me get this resolved. So I have filed a grievance now with the insurance to get Help U Hear to stop charging me and hopefully not send me to collections. I am at my wits end and neither the insurance or Help U Hear has been able to get this resolved and I should be getting a refund back from Help U Hear for $496 because I have paid to much now, I have paid them $1498 so far.

    ***************** has a severe to profound hearing loss.  ******* tested and found *********************** needed an earmold and super high power hearing aid.  Which is more than usual and customary that insurance provides or allow.  That is why *********************** and ******* determined that she would pay 498 for the ear mold and hearing aid and whatever insurance allowed would cover the difference.  Her insurance allowed or approved 1018 which 1000 of it went to her deductible and her insurance paid us 18 dollars.  So *********************** owes the 1000 that went to her deductible.  That is what she has paid and she is now paid in full.  We have tried to contact ***** several times to explain this to her and she has not returned any of our calls. If you or her have any further questions please feel free to call our main office in *********** and talk with ***** or *********************.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this response/resolution is satisfactory to me. 

    I have contacted the business and we discussed the issues and they are willing to resolve this issue and close out the rest of the bill.
