  Less than 1 star! Didnt clean my pool and kept saying they would make it right. Never made it right then filed a claim against me in court! Horrible service! Horrible management! Horrible communication! And I know other customers with the same issue.

  This customer refused to pay for services rendered to his pool, our team put a new cover pump on his pool on 4-27-2023, and he refused to pay the invoice. The pool was in terrible condition, almost black in color, it looked like a swamp. Our management team promised Mr. ****** we would try to help with clearing up his pool water, our maintenance team came out to his property on multiple occasions and tried their best to turn swamp water into crystal clear and safe swimming pool water. Mr. ****** was never taken to court by our company he was merely turned over to collections in an effort to recoup the money we had lost while attempting to assist him in clearing his pool, and for the cover pump he never paid for. What Mr. ****** does not understand is that clearing a swimming pool is tough enough when the water just has a little green algae in it, clearing up a pool that has extremely high amounts of green and black algae plus water mold could take anywhere from 4-8 weeks. Mr. ****** is confused, because our management team never promised him anything for free, we promised Indiana Pools & Spas would do everything we could to clear the disgusting water in his pool, and we were making progress before he stopped answering our phone calls and started threatening to "Not pay a dime". Unfortunately with the condition his pool was in that takes quite a bit of time and effort to clear. We are sorry that he feels like he's been cheated, but any pool professional knows that clearing a pool, in the condition Mr. ******** was in, is a long process.

  As expected, Indiana Pools and Spas continue with false information. The pool was never black or green! Just never cleaned of the bugs, leaves as they never once swept the pool as proven by our cameras. And not to mention once I had ****** Pools and Spa came to pick up from this poor service our pool was clean and cloudy free by the end of the day. So no confusion on my part, the videos or records from ****** reports. Just bad business and poor management from Indiana Pools and Spas. The intent of my report is to warn fellow Bloomington consumers to be aware and choose any other company for your pool needs!

  These people are low down crooks. I'd been buying my hot tub filters and supplies from them for a couple of years and when I decided to get a new hot tub I thought to with them because I was already familiar with the staff. The day they delivered the new hot tub which I paid for in full in advance they started billing me for work I did not agree to, not showing up for appointments to complete the installation, etc. I wish I never heard of this place.

  I would rather It is truly a shame that the retail staff are such nice, well-meaning people and that the owner's customer service and repair service is so incredibly poor (sloppy, incompetent, and clueless in terms of basic customer care and communication). I think the hot tub products are good, but DO NOT buy from them unless you plan to learn how to repair it yourself or make sure the brand can be repaired/maintained by another company). Ugh!

  DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!We had an inground pool installed by Indiana Pools and Spas 2022-2023 and it has been a disaster from the moment we signed the contract. We signed the contract in Feb 2022, and we were advised they should be able to begin at the end of the summer, however they did not begin work until mid-October. Then the real problems began. First, they could not follow simple instructions not to drive over the septic system, or in the neighbor's yard.Then they would go weeks without coming to work on the pool even though we were experiencing a very mild winter most of the time which would have allowed them to work. When they did come it would not be until almost noon, and if they did not sleep in the truck and actually worked, they would leave before 2pm and not return. They damaged my clearly marked private utility (in-ground dog fence) which I had to repair 2 different times myself. After they damaged it a 3rd time, I had to force the issue that they would have to repair it. They had dirt and stone hauled and dumped into my neighbor's yard, killing grass and making ruts, which I had to demand for them to do restoration of. After they did it, I had to do it again myself , because they did not fix the ruts or damage, they simply threw down grass seed and straw.After all of these problems and many more related to workmanship, they had the audacity to send me an invoice for additional charges in excess of $7600. After referring to the contract only $1120 should have been due. While I was communicating over the course of several weeks via email, asking for copies of invoices (which they did send) and asking to provide documentation of where they provided me with change orders and my signature approving those (which they could not provide, because they don't exist) they placed and lien on my property. I paid the amount I agreed was due and they have now sent my account to collections, which I formally disputed as well.

  If negative feedback was possible they would have it! Please don't use this company. They don't know what they are doing and should solely stick to selling product ONLY on a store front level. Thousands of dollars later and months of waiting to simply install a pool liner. We still have massive water loss and nobody competent enough to fix. We had a completely functional pool before they got a hand in it to simply install a nice new liner. I've now been referred to another leak detection company due to their incompetence of a simple liner replacement. Please please please do your research!!

  Do not use this company! Signed a contract for them to repair my pool and paid money down to have done early. Contract signed Feb 21. After several excuses was finally told in July they didnt have the manpower to do the job!!
