      We bought a whole home generator in Feb.2024 for $15,500 and we have had problem after problem with it I would like a replacement or my money back, in November until February it did not run at all. It currently is not working , they are coming for about the 6th time on Thursday but I no longer have faith in them to fix it! Can you please Help. We are Senior Citizens. Thank You ****** ********

      We have been working with the customer on this issue all along. We have come out every time he has called. The problem with this unit is a known manufacturing defect on this model of generator involving the fuel regulator design, not a workmanship issue or error on our part. ****** (the manufacturer) is well aware of the issue and states that a fix is being developed but is not ready to be released yet. The result of the defect is that the generator will not auto-start as it should when the weather is cold. All of this has been explained to the customer several times along the way, but the delay from ****** is causing understandable frustration on his part. At this time of year, when the weather is warm, the fuel regulator should not cause the problem and the generator should start. We have also offered to come out any time he is without power and manually start the generator for him. However, apparently he may be having another issue, for which we are coming to service it again in two days, as the customer stated.

      We will not walk away from getting this problem resolved, but replacement is not part of the warranty of this unit as of now.

      They do come out,but it's not always that cold , I never said that BNG didn't attempt to fix it, but after so many times it's a lemon, so I will wait until they come Thursday to see what I need to do,!

      I had to wait until the gas company came which was Tuesday and to see if it ran today 5/16/2025. The generator ran but not under a load, so I don't know that's it's fixed yet !! The gas man talked to *** with BNG yesterday and told them they might have to put more parts on!! But if you close this and if it don't run under load I will call you back . Thank you!
