      Woke up to a cold house Friday morning (happens to every home owner eventually). At that time, with my limited knowledge, of troubleshooting furnace issues I checked the igniter and flame sensor. Both appeared to be functioning. Furnace would start up and run for approx. 5 min. and then kick off before reaching the set thermostat temperature. At this point I contacted Summers scheduling a visit that happened promptly about 2 hours later. The technician was very courteous and informed me of the error code (3 blinks) was a malfunctioning pressure switch. After testing the pressure switch and knowing that wasn't the issue I was informed that it was a bad gas valve. The Tech left and returned with a replacement. After installing a new gas valve the furnace ran for approximately 6 min. and turned off again. The Tech then told me that it was a malfunctioning circuit board (something about a possible relay). At this point the cost of the gas value and a new ************* was equivalent to approximately 40% that of a new furnace. I decided, at this point, to cut a check and send the tech on his way. Over the course of approximately two hours, I decided to educate myself on troubleshooting the issue. I discovered that the * vap coil (above the exchanger) was covered in a blanket of dust prohibiting airflow on the discharge resulting in overheating that tripped the limiter switch. Having cleaned this and putting everything back together the furnace worked fine. Bottom line... gas valve wasn't the issue. The Tech should have informed that the evaporator coil was a possible issue, and if I was so mechanically inclined, corrected on my own, or offered a quote to clean it. ****** learned and $670 later I can tell you this... *ither the tech is incompetent or is out to hose me for a new furnace. I certainly hope this isn't a reflection on other technicians that work for this company. Pathetic. I'd leave a 0 star rating if possible.

      Chad came out and provided a detailed explanation so the county inspector knows the logistics of this furnace. Very personable and also provided information regarding adding humidifier in the house. Thanks Chad. Highly recommend Summers for your furnace work. Very professional company.

      Worst experience ever, equal to our bad experience with ********* years ago!!!!! The workers are nice and polite though. We paid for a new geothermal furnace 1.5 yrs. ago, supposedly top if the line, and we have to call every 2 to 3 months for repairs due to installation issues. Been without heat for 10 days, the receptionist says we'll let us know when the parts come in. We keep blowing circuit breakers and they can't decide how many amps we need for our boards. They had electricians here 3 times, still have issues. We had to have our entire house rewired because **** said what we bought would work with what we had...NOPE!!!!! The receptionist doesn't pass messages on and always says she doesn't receive my messages. When I call and tell them my name after their jingle, they say...oh. Can't get management to return any of my calls, because all management are ***************. **** didn't know what he was doing! Told installer we had a slab, we have a crawl space. Never installed some piping due to the "miscommunication " about the slab. They keep coming out but why should it be necessary this often???? SERIOUSLY! We just want heat and for our house to NOT burn down and not get pneumonia from the cold. We're going to end up with a $600+ electric bill due to the space heaters....guess who will be receiving our bill to pay?? I could go on and on and on but that's probably enough for the time being.

      I am so dissatisfied with a shower installation that is totally incomplete. There is exposed wood opening where the tub was taken out. No safety rail with shower as was requested and no shower door which makes this entire install incomplete and unsafe.I am having to find someone to complete this half done job. Which is another expense.I trusted you to come into my home and update the bathroom. Instead you came in and created a unsafe, incomplete job..

      Great service. Quick and efficient. **** was excellent. **** me updated and educated through the process of tuning my furnace. I appreciated it. Will be continuing my services through them. Definitely recommend them if your look for someone to take care of your HVAC issues. Affordable and great customer service.

      They have always done a good job till now? I wasn't there during the visit like I usually am bit ran into the tech as I was coming in and he was done? As always before expecting the same level 9f service? But after the clean and check the furnace never restarted and now they say the gas valve is bad and expensive to replace? May have been coincidence but the service manager hasn't called me back after 2 calls to the local phone number and being told that I should receive a call today? Sadly I am disappointed?
