When I hire a contractor, I'm expecting someone who will handle all aspects of the job but instead I got a guy who created problems due to his incompetence, then always blamed something or someone else. Example are he can't do the job right because the floor isn't perfectly level or the ceiling isn't perfectly flat. Other examples are he spend a couple hours trying to get a cabinet through the door and says it's" impossible" The cabinet company sends a professional ********* over and has the cabinet through the door and installed in an hour. The problem wasn't the job was impossible, the problem was that he was impossible for the unqualified people he hired who had never installed a cabinet in their lives. Some examples of the amateurism of his work are the electrician installed a flush mounted ceiling light with one edge a quarter inch below the ceiling. ***** suggested solution was to shove it up with a broom handle and stick it in place with silicon. When the electrician had to come back for another job. *** did not ask him to fix the problem but I did and he quickly disassembled the light and reinstalled it correctly. Another example of the poor quality of work that *** does is he installs the trim with **** joints instead of mitered corners. His reasoning for not doing mitered corners is that "nobody can do mitered corners because the ceiling isn't perfectly flat'.The reason I was remodeling the kitchen was because the drain pipe broke behind the wall. When ***** plumbers were installing the new pipes they dropped some metal down the pipe and my laundry sink would no longer drain. I called *** about the problem and instead of contacting the original plumbers to fix their error he called Roto Rooter. The Rotor Rooter man charged $425 which *** refused to pay. *** did demand payment in full even though he left two floor to ceiling cabinets uninstalled because he didn't know how to install them. I hired professionals who finished the job.
