She overpaid my sales taxes for my business in the amount of #$3,615.88 on March 19th 2023 after not paying attention when I told her I did them myself. She claims she has requested the money back from the state but when questioned what day she did it she will not answer. The money is still not back in my account. I want my money back. I want her reported to whoever is in charge of accountants that don't do their job. There has been many times she neglected to pay my taxes that has resulted in me paying late fees. She doesn't account for any deductions with income taxes either. When I fired her she locked me out of my own Quickbooks account and made herself master administrator like it was her business. She also canceled my payroll so my employee didn't get paid. When I added myself back on as a business administrator she sent me an email threatening me that she was going to delete me again. Something needs to be done about her unprofessional behavior and lack of care about other people's money.

******* text me on Saturday March 18 saying she paid her sales tax.  I saw only two small amounts paid so assumed they were not paid as yet.  She normally does not go into Intime and pay her taxes, I do. I could not see on the system they were filed or paid.  Not wanting to be late for filing or paying, I went ahead and did so.  This created a double entry and double payment. I did request the money as soon as it showed a credit on her account which took more than one day.   I did not answer every text message as I was extremely busy preparing tax returns.  The **************** will mail a check not directly deposit back into a bank account.   I have reimbursed her for any and all late fees in the past that were because of my doing.  Her sister showed up at my establishment after I had messaged ******* that I would pay her $150 late fee looking for a check.  She screamed at my secretary saying she should know who she was.  I was in the office next door and could hear her from there. I came over and asked what the problem was and she said she was there for her sister's check. I wrote the check and walked out behind her to go back to the office I was in.  She started screaming profanities across the parking lot.  I don't conduct business this way.  She screamed I was fired.  I then wanted to be sure I did not have access to her ********** and transferred billing to her and removed myself as accountant.  She would then get a notice, put her payment information in and be able to conduct her business. I did not threaten her saying I was going to delete her again, I was trying to delete myself so she could be the admin on the account. Unprofessional behavior was her sister coming in acting like a maniac scaring my elderly clients who were here at time.  A mistake was made, I corrected the mistake, paid her for the late fee and ended our relationship.
