I came in from out of town to visit family when my Jeep broke down. I had it towed to Deans tire and Auto and they initially told me it was a bad starter. I told them to replace the starter which they did. They then had a friend of mine call me who doesnt even work there and tell me that the motor was locked up and it was going to cost over $8,000 to fix. I told them I would take it home and have a local mechanic look at it instead. I got my vehicle back home to ********* and when my mechanic looked at it, the new starter they put on was put on with an impact and it was broken. There was a piece of it that wasnt even attached to it. I also had my mechanic check to see if the motor was locked up and it wasnt. They lied about what was actually wrong with my vehicle and installed and charged me for a part that was broken when it was installed. I have since had to order another starter since the one they put on cant be used and have to pay someone else to put a new starter on again. They lied to me and charged me for a part that was broken and didnt fix the problem and then let me take it home that way knowing it was broken because it had a very obvious crack in it. When my mechanic took the bolts off, one of the pieces fell off in his hand and wasnt even attached to the rest of the starter.
