    I purchased a pool motor from the Pool Man in Clarksville Indiana. I brought the old one down and they assembled the new one on Saturday, May 2025. I brought it home and connected the new motor. It did not work. I had to pay another party to fix the problem. His findings were that the wiring was not connected right and the three prong plug not work. There was zero voltage in the plug. Ending up she did not charge me for the plug/cord by mistake, which was not my fault but when I called the Pool Man to have them come back and fix it she would NOT let someone come out and fixit. I had spent already almost $500 for the motor glue and a seal kit. So that’s when I had to call another party to come out and diagnose the problem. Lisa, one of the owners finds it necessary to be condescending, rude, and mean. She told the repair man that came out and fixed the issue that I always blame her for everything. But, I’m only stating the facts, not blaming anybody. She sent me home with a defective motor and plug. She accidentally forgot to charge me for the three prong plug, but that is not the issue. She REFUSED to send someone out and fix the problem. She sold me a defective plug that was wired incorrectly from the beginning. All I’m asking is that she reimburse me for the service charge of $80. I have tried to talk to her several occasions about this issue and she will not comply. When the repair man called her and told her that he sold me a defective product, the only thing she had to say to him was,“make sure Angie pays you“. Lisa is extremely unprofessional and will not take responsibility for her part and the company’s part. So I had to spend almost $600 by the time it was over. Please help! I hired them to do a job that they did not fulfill and she wants to say it is my fault. I know nothing about motors or electricity. She sold me something that was defective and would not take responsibility.!!!

    We understand that this customer is frustrated; however, we did what we could in the urgency that she presented. Our service crews are booked out for weeks, so we were not able to send anyone to her residence due to already scheduled services. We asked her to bring her defective motor into the store, and we replaced it immediately upon her arrival. We waived the in-store service fee and motor cord that totaled $94.15, which is more than the $80 she is requesting. We had already addressed this complaint with the customer personally, and unfortunately, we do not feel that there is anything further we can do at this time to satisfy her.
