    Avoid these service provider at all costs for your special needs loved one. This business launched around 2021 right after the pandemic and my family wanted to give them a chance as they are local and minority owned - we made a HUGE MISTAKE and I want to share areas of concern for anyone interested in their services:
    - Don't allow them to be payee, they don't have proper book-keeping in place and can never share all the documents of where money was used and for what. Then they complain that they paid for things out of pocket and never informed the guardians of this.
    - They aren't experienced with submitting the proper paperwork to receive funding (24 hour care). We were forced to provide immediate care for our loved one after Affinity failed to submit paperwork on time and correct. My family member taking care of her is very ill. We had to do an immediate transfer due to this.
    - Caregivers smoke around clients. I did a surprise visit to check on my loved one and I found her in a car with a caregiver window rolled up and the caregiver was smoking a cigarette. I believe they fired the staff but imagine if I did more surprise visits?
    - Management doesn't answer phone calls in a timely manner related to important issues.
    These are just SOME of the things about this company and why I do not recommend Affinity Care Group in Southern Indiana.
