I have purchased a lot of equipment from More Farm Stores. I once bought am excavator from them and it didn't go as planned. I no longer needed it due to a change in the area planning center. More Farm Store requested that I pay for the "damages" to the machine. No significant damages but from being a new machine I reluctantly agreed to paying I believe 12-14,000 dollars. After a while, I understood where they were coming from, however, after continuing to buy machines from them, I was just at their shop trying to buy a mower for my father. The sales person seemed distant and not very helpful. I told him I would get back with him. When I called to make the order, he told me he wouldn't sell me a mower if a gun was to his head because of what I did to them. I've never met this guy in my life nor did I do anything that was left unresolved. My parents were in the car with me. Just a very disrespectful encounter that was out of the blue. I then called in to the store and they told me the owner would reach out. He never did and the next 3 times I tried to call during business hours ***** answered. I want some type of explanation from the owner and an apology for the way I was treated as a paying customer.

************************* / ************************ has a history of dishonesty within the community and at our dealerships.  At one point in 2021 he had rented a mini-excavator from us and we had to repossess the machine for non-payment.  He worked very hard at not allowing us to recover our machine and even told me that if I went on his property to get it he would be waiting with a gun.  We had to engage an attorney to get our machine back and to get the rental payment that was due to us.  Additionally, the excavator that was rented had over $20,000 of damage of which we were able to get some back from ***************  After an experience like this with ************** we decided to never do business with him again.  He does not have several machines, according to my records he had purchased a few small items without my knowledge.

In the experience that ************** is referring to at our ************* store he was given a price that he did not like, demanded to see a manager, and when the manager came out, he was verbally abused by **************  Once my store manager realized who was speaking to he told him that we did not want to do business with him.  ************** became angrier and I instructed my employees to not take his calls.  He has since left us several negative reviews.  I am not sure why he is demanding that we sell him equipment (especially at a discount) there are numerous places in Fort Wayne, *************, & ****** that sell the same items that we do.

We always want to do business with people, however we do reserve the right to refuse service to individuals that have demonstrated a lack of honesty and integrity.  Based on our history with ************** and his long list of small claim suits against him we decided to politely tell him that we did not want to work with him.

I am rejecting this response because:

I, *************************, have done business with More Farm Store. ************ ******* ********* * ************ *** has never done business with More Farm Stores.

Their response begins with an insult. Me and my company are very well known in the community for the charity events and community outreach programs we administrate.

The excavator ordeal was approximately 3 years ago and I paid the money requested and since then have purchased ****s of dollars worth of equipment from them. I had no idea there was any bad blood or further issues until his sales person told me in front of my parents they wouldn't sell to me if he has a gun to his head.

After the incident, I have published my review of their company from my experience and ************* the owner reacted by publishing multiple bad reviews on my company accounts and has never done business with my company. Because of this I had started the process of ordering a cease and desist for actions against my company for slander and defamation.

I will NOT take blame for the unprofessional actions of his sales person and until that is rectified, I will not be releasing this complaint and I will further my grievances.
