      10/31/22 picked out stone and paid full amount $6,947.46.So I went and picked out color of stone and gave him 24 pages of the family history and *******'s name appeared 7 times and ******* died at 1 years old born 1898 and died 1899, not born in 1889. When ***** arrived at cemetery that is when we found out the misspelling and date wrong. contacted ********************* the Memorial Specialist several times and he kept saying he has someone to fix it and i was on the list and he said it would take time because he had other stuff going on blaming weather and just continued over a year or more and then i called sometime in June of 2024 and someone different answered the phone and said that ********************* no longer works here and they said **** never told them anything about it and said they would contact him and that they wasn't going to fix it and i okayed everything and signed it and all i was signing that day is what they said to me was is this the color of the stone i want and i didn't have glasses on and he said its ok you don't need them if you can see the color. So they are refusing to fix anything and i paid them all that money.

      Allen Monument Company acknowledges receipt of the complaint regarding the memorial for the ****** family monument. Founded in 1995, we have grown into Indianas largest retail and wholesale monument manufacturers. We take immense pride in our craftsmanship and attention to detail with each monument. As company policy, we require signatures throughout the entire purchasing process. A signed legal document called approval form is one document, that is to be signed by the representative (in this case, ****************) prior to production. We do not manufacture memorials until we have a signed approval form on file. All approval forms state the monument description such as components, lettering engraving, color and size. All approval forms show a realistic version of what the finished memorial will look like at the cemetery.  It is our customers responsibility to double check names, dates, components and all spelling for accuracy prior to signing the approval form. **************** signed the approval form for all sides of the memorial and the memorial was manufactured. The finished memorial matches the approval form that *************** signed. Allen Monument Company is not responsible for repairing or replacing the memorial. However, we welcome the opportunity to provide a quote for repair or replacement.
