Brought in a diamond necklace and diamond earrings to sell the gold - didn't care for setting but wanted the diamonds. I was told that the diamonds weren't real. I sold the gold. I then saw my jewelry on **** with the diamonds listed as "natural white diamonds". I went into the store wanting my jewelry back because I was lied to and scammed. I was told all sales are final. I asked them "is this how you do business?" Their response was I'm sorry for your remorse. I didn't have sellers remorse - I was lied to.

Even though a few people complain on reviews that they dont get the amount they think they deserve for their items, I want to point out that the very nature of this business is to buy and RESELL. There has to be a profit to be made in that equation. Otherwise there is no point of places like the Gold Depot even operating. They provide a service that enables the public to sell their jewelry, gold silver, and collectible items and get immediate cash in their hands. There has to be profit and cash to give. A lot of work goes into investing and reselling. They provide a service for people that cant, dont want to, or dont have time to sell their own items directly. But the entire business operates on the owners preference of what hed like to invest in and how much he can afford to pay any person, and its the customera choice if they want to take the offer or not. If you want to get 100% or more of what you think your item is worth, then you have to take the time to research your own items and sell them yourself. Another key point a lot of people dont understand is there are multiple types of gold. 10K, 14K, 18K, 22K, 24K (.999999) 10k has waaaay less gold than the higher carats. If the gold prices are so much per ounce on the market, you have to calculate each gold item based on the amount of gold in it. You cant get the same price for 24K gold vs 14K gold! There s almost a 50% difference in the amount of gold. People can get very rude when they are not told the things they want to hear, Or understand even though they will answer your questions precisely how this all works if youd like to know. Or feel free to research before you try and get any kind of money for your items. Ask QUESTIONS PEOPLE!!! God Bless

Not worth the time or trouble. Rude and will low ball you on items sold to him.
