On 4-17-23 at 12:26 in the afternoon I went to this location to purchase a battery for my vehicle. A 2013 ****** Highlander. A young lady came out and put a testing device on my battery after shutting the car off and determined in fact the battery need to be replaced .She called a coworker who indicated he was about to the store and he would install the battery as she is pregnant and could not. When he arrived we went thru the computer to determine what battery would best suit my car. I then paid using my debit card he and another male employee took a wrench and went outside to take the old battery out and put the new battery in. the two men determined the post on the battery were opposite of the wires on the car they came in we selected another battery and they went to the car to install the battery again this time the horn went off but the car would not start. the one male came in with the new battery and said we dont have a battery to fit your vehicle and took my old battery and a jump pack out to the car. at this point the car that i drove in to the location now will not start at all. male #2 stayed out with the car searching for blown fuses while the other male went in the store. after several attempts i instructed to disconnect the jump pack put things back together and i called for a tow truck. while waiting the female employee came out to the car with her manager on the phone that stated he would take care of the repairs and to take the vehicle to the nearest service center. it was taken to the nearest ****** dealer. ****** determined the fuseable links had been blown due to the jump pack being connected backwards. (meaning positve to negative instead of positive to positive). i called the store manage telling him the results and the cost was at near *******. he said have them service the vehicle. after the work was completed on the car i have made several attempts to which i now can not get the ******* plus the ****** tow for them.
