    We noticed discoloring on some of our windows (underwarranty) and realized it's inside the window panes. We are also having issues with the sliding door they installed. We contacted Am. Sunspace and someone came out in Feb. He looked at the windows wrote down which windows needed replacing. He looked at the sliding door and said something about it being warped and he could fix it. Was told the windows would be ordered and they'd take care of it. Then nothing happened. ****** has called over and over. Last time ****** got hold of them, which is hard, they wanted us to tell them over the phone which windows needed replacing even though the person who came out had specifically looked at each window and written down the information for each. After that, we haven't heard from them again. My husband has called them 15 times. Most of the time when they answer and find out your need ***** in warranty , you are put on hold and disconnected.

    Mr. & ***************** have called into our office for service.  ******************* went out to look at windows and access the situation.  Last time I spoke to **************** was July 9, 2024.  The replacement glass is in process and as soon as it is ready I will schedule as soon as possible.  The house window division of American Sunspace is no longer active therefore this has taken longer than normal, and I apologize.  This will be done within the next three weeks. Thank you.

     Better Business Bureau:

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me as long as the work actually gets completed. We have been waiting since February for the window replacements. We would like the file left open until the work is done.

    This business accepted our deposit for a sunroom March 2024. We were told per our contract someone would be out to take final measurements 6-8 weeks from the sale, no one has contacted us to get the final measurements. But they are expecting another deposit in August.

    American Sunspace entered into contract with *********************** on March 21, 2024.  The amount of the contract is *********, we received a partial deposit of $9,100.00.  The contract states that the balance of the deposit is due in August 2024 in the amount of $6,000.00.  The contract also states the installation is due ***** months from the date of the contact.  Installation timeframe would be due in January -March 2025.  I received an email on May 4, 2024, on our company website address regarding the installation date.  The email was responded to on May 6, 2024, stating that the installation is ***** months from the contract date, the balance of the deposit was due in August and that the next step would be the job check, job checks are normally done 6-8 weeks however that is usually when we have received the full deposit, I said that we would be contacting her to schedule the job check in the next 2-3 weeks then after the final measurement are taken she will receive prints showing her the layout of the project. The measurement appointment was made, and the customer has received the engineered stamped sunroom prints for her job. The sunroom prints have been approved and installation is on the schedule to start in the next 3-5 weeks earlier than the contract installation date noted on the contract.
