    I have lived in this apartment complex for three years, and there is mold in these apartments and water damage, sinks being held up by tape, trash all over the place, apartment complex floods really bad, laundry room is locked after hours and on weekends! Work orders not being done or taken serious, apartments infested with roaches! Pool has only been open 5 times in three years! Corporate people do not return calls! Office people quit so we have no one to complain to! A/c barely works in one of the bedrooms, vectren here is like $300-$500 a month because of cracks and air not really working or staying in the units, being charged $100 dollars for a house key they make in a shed out back!     SPM assumed management of this site on April 1, 2024.  Since that date, we have had a complete staff change, and are currently working to fill the vacant staff positions.  Our new Property Manager, ******* ********, started 6/17, and our new maintenance supervisor starts 6/24.  We have a candidate in background to fill the other open office position, and are interviewing for the other 2 maintenance positions.  In the meantime, we do have a temporary maintenance tech onsite.  We have a potential solution to the drainage issue in the parking lot, and will be working on this over the next few weeks.  I understand that this property has some deferred maintenance issues, and SPM is committed to correcting them as quickly as possible.  I have simply been asking residents for patience as we continue staff the property and get ourselves caught up.

    We are working on new laundry room hours, and those will be announced effective July 1st.  Leaks, AC issues, moisture related issues need to be addressed with our new manager, as former staff was not creating records of these, so the pictures that ****** attached, were the first we had seen of those issues.

    ******* will be putting out a welcome letter here in the next few days, outlining the importance of notifying the office of any and all unresolved issues in their units.  SPM looks forward to making a difference here at Eastland and in making this a community residents are proud to call home.
