    I had water in my family room from a storm that brought 3.5 in of rain to my area on 2-16-23, I called my insurance company and they gave me the name of a company to extract the water. Hasgoe arrived at11:30 and brought in equipment . They checked the area and said I had $1000 deductible and that should take care of it. They were here until 2:00 and now I received a bill for. $2459.99. That is unbelievable and is $1000 an hour.! They put a dehumidifier in the room at a charge of $400 and 8 fans ($708) on for 3 days. They came back on day 3 and removed equipment . I certainly did not expect a bill of $2500 for 2 1/2 hrs work and feel this restoration company is overcharging because it was through insurance. The insurance denied the claim stating it was surface water that flooded. I had someone come and remove the furniture in the room and place it in the corner and there was no damage to walls or ceiling. The only water extracted was on the carpet. I have told people about this charge and they all tell me it is a rip-off because Hasgoe thought it was a insurance claim. I am unsure what I can do except get an attorney
