      Popham construction was hired to fix our basement after a sewer line backed up. Through the entire process the project manager was almost impossible to get in touch with, would not provide us with updates on when workers would be here to do the work, the work is still unfinished, there are line items on the contract that Popham did not do at all, and the work that was done is not in a workmanlike manner to standard practices

      Per the contract we signed with Popham Construction all work was to be completed within 30-180 days of the work beginning and "in a workman like manner to standard practices." Neither of these items were honored as it's 221 days since work began and October 10th, 2023 when I am filing this complaint. 180 days from the beginning of the work was September 9th, 2023.

      With the work not being completed in the contracted window and the things that were done being such poor quality we believe we are owed a refund so we can hire another company to complete the work rather than continue to fight back and forth with Popham on what's not done correctly or if they honored their contract.

      I have also attached a PDF document with notes on when the project manager did not communicate with us, issues we asked him about that we were told would cause any problems, the contract stating what work was to be completed and when it should be completed by, the line items that were never done at all, and some photos of unfinished or poorly done work.
