  The owner of Lang Brothers came to my house the week of Oct-3-22 to give estimate on new roof and aluminum guttering, fascia, downspouts and porch wraps. The complaint with Lang Brothers is with the aluminum materials they used. When owner came we discussed what brand of guttering material he uses. He replied Rollex. I said good because that was my request. We went over everything and then he emailed a proposal on 10-6-22 to look over and sign. It noted to use Rollex materials for guttering, fascia and downspouts, and pole wraps. Everything looked fine so we signed. The aluminum materials were installed on my home 10-14-22.. Winter went by, then came spring and gutters were a mess. They had stained blackish stripes on every inch of my gutters. I called owner to tell him about the stained gutters. He told me to get someone local to clean them and was very rude about the problem. After that I felt uneasy with him. Then I called Rollex to ask what to use to clean my gutters and she stated that they should have given me a warranty form the day they installed my gutters. I didn't receive one. So I called Lang Brothers to ask for Rollex form and never received it. Got suspicious of them. Then made a call to secretary to ask where my aluminum materials came from. She replied she didn't know that she would ask her boss and get back. They never got back with me so I kept calling. Then he tells her to tell me of a place that my materials didn't even come from. Still calls were made to find out. Then on 8-24-23 they email me the correct place. Then I called that place to inquire what brand my aluminum products were and was told QAP(Quality Aluminum Products) and they were not Rollex. Made many phone calls and left messages on owner's cell phone and with secretary to call back and resolve issue with installing wrong brand. Never has Lang Brothers called back or made any attempt to resolve this. If Rollex was put on my home I may not have had stain issue, Want full refund

  We installed white seamless gutters per quote. No issues on the roof or gutters performance. Lang brothers can not be responsible for dirt or algae on gutters. I respectfully told the homeowner this. She has complained daily about her gutters need cleaned. Under no gutter manufacturer would they warranty for dirt!  I don’t feel like this is a worthy complaint. Also we hold a great report with all other customers

  I am rejecting this response because: The owner of Lang Brothers needs to reread my initial complaint and the proposal. The signed proposal was attached to prove that the aluminum materials to be used on my home were to be Rollex brand. This is the brand we purchased and not the one he used.. This is what he needs to respond to. He is twisting things around by making it look like it is all about cleaning of the gutters, which isn't true! The gutters are clay not white. My home got new roof shingles at same time frame as guttering. The new shingles washed oil stains on my guttering causing what is called tiger striping, which is a stain and not dirt, which  isn't coming off. This merely is stated because if he would have used the correct agreed purchased Rollex brand this stain may have not occurred. It all boils down to the bait and switch with the brand of aluminum products he used to gain more on his end. The resolution to this is to give a full refund due to him being fraudulent. Sure is mighty odd you did not state anything on you last response about the signed proposal stating it was not Rollex, because it clearly was. Please resolve! I want a full refund

  I will send a cleaning crew to clean the gutter just to keep pease. But let it be know we are not responsible for gutters to stay clean no matter what brand aluminum was used!  Let me know when you would like us to clean. Thanks

  I am rejecting this response because: Again, this is not a complaint with the BBB in reference to the stained gutters! This is a complaint that is about the BRAND of aluminum materials you used on our home that was NOT the BRAND we purchased from Lang Brothers Construction!!! The signed proposal states that and it is also attached to BBB complaint for reference. You are NOT facing up to your fraudulent way by putting a different brand of aluminum materials than what we PURCHASED! This shows that you are not trustworthy, and will lie about anything in order to green your palm. Refund me so both parties can move on. You know you deceived me.   All aluminum products are equal in thickness and quality. The gutters are working as they should with no issues other than natural staining!  My offer it to clean them. Thanks and have a nice day

  I am rejecting this response because: The longer you drag this out to get resolved the more guilty you look! I want a refund for my gutter materials. We purchased Rollex brand and signed Lang Brothers proposal that also states that and you gave us material that was QAP aluminum products, which plain and simple is NOT ROLLEX BRAND!!! This would be no different than you purchasing a Cadillac and the dealer bringing you a Ford. Resolve this complaint. The back and forth responses of each of us could very well be reported on BBB's website. I have nothing to hide but you may want to rethink things on your end. I feel the need to contact other parties relating to your deceitfulness if this isn't resolved SOON!!

  There is no difference in quality of product between the QAP and the Rolex. It’s the same quality and same thickness and no difference in the price. We don’t receive the product in pieces for installation, but we produce the gutters  here.

  I’m still willing to have her gutters professionally cleaned, but no refund is available.

    : I do NOT want to hear another word about my guttering needed to be cleaned! Knock that off your slate. You apparently need to go back to the first initial claim I submitted and READ it again! It says I want satisfaction from Lang Brothers Construction to refund me due to putting guttering materials on our home that was NOT the brand we purchased. We purchased ROLLEX BRAND. You just admitted on your last response that you put QAP aluminum materials on our home. The signed proposal, which is a legal document, states we were to get ROLLEX. Read on your own proposal again or have someone translate it to you. You apparently don't even know what Lang Brother's Construction sent me!! See attached proposal on BBB's website and it surely will all come back to you. Will not be settled till you work with me on a refund!!

  I will not be refunding any money. Please proceed with arbitration as I’m open on dates. The amount they are asking for was for all the overhang work including soffit fascia post wraps and gutters. Thanks ****. No issues with any of the work.
