We started the loan at $28,000 and it's only stating $25,000. So where is all of our money going? Then out of the blue they want to raise our payment of ****** to almost 850 a month! For a jeep trailhawk l, are u kidding me??!! That's more than an Audi S8 payments!!! They call n harass u about what insurance needs to b on the car or they repo as well regardless of payments. I don't know who I need to talk to but if I need to I will go up the ladder til I get an answer or someone fixes this nightmare!! Forum u r a horrible car finance *********** will NEVER recommend anyone I know to u as long as I live or them!! Good day!!

FORUM Credit Union attempted to contact the borrower with no response. The vehicle was financed with an initial monthly payment contingent on the borrower providing verification of comprehensive and collision insurance listing FORUM Credit Union on the policy as the loss payee. After multiple reminders and requests to provide proof of this insurance, the borrower did not provide the verification. Per the loan agreement, ******************************* was placed on the loan. The cost of the insurance was added onto the outstanding loan balance and increased the loan balance and monthly payment. If verification of comprehensive and collision insurance from the time the vehicle was purchased is provided, a full refund of the cost of the insurance will be refunded. If the loan is paid off early, a prorated amount of the cost will be refunded. We encourage the borrower to contact us to discuss further.

I've banked with Forum Credit Union since 2019. Over the last few months, I have had multiple blocks placed on my debit card, causing my card to be declined. Examples are from a clothing store whom I have used before and told Forum I will continue to use so it's fine to notify the fraud **** to remove the flag. They have not done so, causing me to call them after my card declines for purchases. Then I have to contact the clothing store and have them re-run the transaction. Another example is I paid off my credit cards after Christmas. I like to use my debit card, so it comes out automatically although, once again, they blocked all my payments after the **** daily limit. I have called them and asked for this limit to be removed before. Instead, I had to pay them via ACH. Another example is declining a credit from another bank. Why in the world would you decline a credit to my account?! Once again, I had to call them and have it lifted. Then call the company and have them try to run it again. ENOUGH! It's embarrassing and a hassle. While I can appreciate Forum trying to protect my account, it's ridiculous when I have authorized more than once for things to process and asked for the higher limits. This is not helping your members. One time should be enough to inform you. I don't have time to babysit my bank on things I've already spoken about. I'm done. OH- and you can go ahead and respond back and brush the blame back on your members like you always do.

Upon receipt of the BBB Customer Review on Wednesday January 24th, ****, the FORUM ****** Services Manager called and left a message for member ******************* indicating her review was received and is being researched. The FORUM Fraud and Loss Prevention Assistant Manager reviewed all declined debit card transactions noted in the Customer Review submitted. The following reasons were identified for each transaction being declined.Transactions for merchant Venus.com (clothing store) were declined due to reports of fraudsters testing cards at the time the purchases were presented. FORUM does not directly control when cards are set to decline from a merchant due to it being dependent on when fraudulent activity is detected. The fraud rule related to this merchant has been lifted at this time allowing for purchases to successfully process. The credit from, and payment to, bank transactions were declined due to the amount requested in both instances being above the pre-established debit card credit limit of $2500.00. This limit is in place as a security measure to assist with preventing money laundering and monetary loss. If the member is planning to receive or send funds from their debit card for greater than $2500.00, they will have to call the request into FORUM ****** Services to avoid the transaction from being declined. Per the members request, their limit has been permanently raised to $3500.00 as an accommodation at this time. The FORUM ****** Services Manager called to follow up with the member to discuss the results of the research conducted and steps taken to assist. A voice mail was left to call him back. He also sent an email to the member explaining results of the research conducted and noted above. The member has the phone number and email for the FORUM ****** Services Manager to contact if additional assistance is needed.

I applied for a home loan with a Double that I own and live in one side. The loan was taking quite awhile to complete. The appraisal came back at *******. I have an existing loan on property with a balance of ******. I was asking for ******. I am employed full time and have rental income of ****** month. You would think this would be a very easy loan. The major problem was the company that did the appraisal. They did it wrong the first time. Re-did the appraisal and put the wrong house picture on cover page . Then the appraiser said my side was vacant that I live on. Pictures taken even show my work vehicle on premises and all address I use go to this property. Forum called the appraiser to confirm that it was vacant on my side. They said yes. Both sides a occupied. Myself on one side renter's pn the other. Forum calls me and wants a copy of the lease sent to them. I have an outside company take care of managing the property and handling leases and rent. I deposit the rental check every month into Forum they cam see this. It's occupied. I felt like I was being called a liar. Why would you not send the appraiser that you pay to not come back out and either Meet me to go inside each unit or just look in the windows to see its occupied. At this point I withdrew my loan application and went with another bank and had no problems. Forum did not apologize or even try to make anything right.

I deposited 2 checks and was told they couldn't be verified. They placed them on hold, the hold dates keep changing. It's been 2 weeks and still no money. I contacted where the checks were from to be told the checks cleared the next day from deposit date, however the fraud department keeps saying they're not cleared and will be sent back to the original bank. I just want my money and the kids to stop with this company so I can close my accounts with them. They have done things very shady and are now saying I am $576 negative on my account but they took $1700 from my husband in our joint account and still hasn't gotten it back. How does someone have $9100 and negative? I do not recommend this credit union after seeing how they run things.

FORUM talked with the member today to resolve this issue and the holds on the checks have been removed. She was understandably frustrated at first but is now appreciative of FORUM trying to protect her from a big loss and understood how the situation with the holds occurred.
