    In October, I hired Finetouch services to do my landscaping. I have terrible allergies and struggle with getting more difficult yard work completed and will get lung infections if I do. A gentleman came out to find out what I was requesting and to the give what I was requesting to another gentleman to form a quote. We talked about putting a mesh down so I would not have (many) weeds in the next year. This was promised and said would be completed per the initial gentleman. They were hired for $3070. The initial job was terrific! This summer, weeds began growing rapidly and I discovered that a mesh wasnt put down, ruining my front and back yard. I reached out to Fine TouchServices on April 8th for resolution. They sent the same guy out, **** I believe, to make a quote and see what needed done. He was in agreenace and upset that a mesh wasnt put down as he remembers discussing it with me. I ended up on a phone call with his manager and another form of management. They told me that they wouldnt do the front and it would be another $1000 to have the back yard completed. I was told this work would be completed this week. It still has not been completed. I have been waiting to have this completed so I can get other work done in my yard and this is beginning to cause multiple disruptions.

    Hi there. Thank you for your statement. The initial work was completed in full almost 9 months ago, and we reached a resolution to move forward from that project into the new project. We then had a discussion that would provide a discounted option, which was agreed upon to get completed, to get the work done correctly this summer. As it stands, we are currently in process of getting that project done. The agreed-upon rate for the project this year is $1480. That includes landscaping with mulch and landscape fabric. The project is actually on the current schedule, but we are running a little bit behind. If you would like to contact our project director, *******, please do so by calling ************.     The initial project included the front and back yard. My yard is back to where it was prior to the first project due to the lack of mesh which was promised, and confirmed to be lacking, from your company. A second project has been greatly delayed continuously as we have been in talks since March. I was agreeable to the initial contract until this last delay. The delays have been too copious and the communication has been minimal. At this point, I will have spent $4400 on landscaping, which should have been done correctly on the back AND front lawn the first time, to now only receive my backyard being serviced. This is 1.5x the original cost for half the job.

    there should not be any more issues because we are already on schedule to get the project complete completed as discussed. It sounds like the biggest issue is the delay, but we really cant control the weather, and we have just been a little bit behind. We apologize for any lack of communication, and we will get this taken care of as quick as we can.

    This morning I received an invoice for $1480. As we had recently discussed, I do not think paying 1.5x the cost for a job that should have been done correctly the first time is an appropriate response and I will not be paying.

    The work was recompleted, correctly, after not delivering an appropriate service on the original job and poor communication. It is ironic to say, this is taking too long to a customer who has had delays on the completion of his landscaping since March. It was abundantly clear when I was on the phone with your service manager that I would not be paying for a job to be fixed and done correctly (as it should have been the first time). My next steps will be to contact the news if this continues. Im deeply disappointed in how this has been handled by your company.
