    The quote provided to me by ****************** via email was sending three guys at $178 per hour with a four hour (sic) minimum plus a one time (********* fee of $140 which, will cover the truck, fuel, travel etc. Therefore, your first four hours will be a total of $852 and then youll pay $178 for each additional hour over four. I estimate that your move should take about seven hours to complete for a total of $1386. The day of the move ************************ team of 3 men arrived w/ 2 smaller box trucks even though this was not what we had discussed. ****************** decided to return one of the trucks he had brought to the house because he had rented the ************* want to have to pay for renting the truck if he could complete my move with one truck, even though the remaining truck was a smaller truck than the truck we had discussed for the move. As a result, more trips would be needed to complete the move, and the move was going to take longer. His team started at 10:30am & unloaded the final load shortly after 12:30am. The final cost due to the additional trips and hours required to complete the move was almost $2100. During the process, his moving team dropped my curio cabinet that had been my Mothers and damaged it beyond repair. ****************** informed me that he was going to deduct the cost of replacing the curio cabinet from the paychecks of his moving team over the next two weeks. He also said he would assemble the replacement curio once it arrived. To date, 3 months after the move, ****************** has not reimbursed me the $360 for the replacement curio cabinet, nor has it been assembled. Additionally, a first few weeks after the move I found that additional items were damaged in the move: my leather couch had two tears in the leather, the front kickplates of two-night stands were broken, and the glass on a *************************-type lamp shade was broken. ****************** has refused to accept responsibility for his moving team damaging these items during the move.
