    Were currently selling our house and the buyers used 317 Plumbing to scope the sewer line and this incredibly unethical company quoted $10k for a full sewer repair. The line is completely fine, it had minimal root intrusion, so we got a second opinion and that was their conclusion as well, but because 317 provided their unprofessional quote, we had to pay the $1k to have the sewer cleaned out. DO NOT do business with these people.

    Thank you for your feedback. Wed like to clarify a few important points for accuracy.

    This review is from the seller of the property. 317 Plumber was hired by the buyer of this property. Our team provided a quote for a Hydrovac Excavation Sewer Spot Repair at 9-foot depth, along with high-pressure jetting and flowable fill, due to the location of the compromised line near the driveway. This method was recommended to avoid the potential damage that could occur with traditional excavation.

    Our assessment was based on visible root intrusion, which indicates that the sewer line has been compromised. Any presence of roots means there is damage, allowing them to enter the pipe. While we respect the sellers decision to opt for a less extensive, short-term solution, such as annual jetting, its important to understand that this is a temporary maintenance approach, not a repair. 

    We always aim to provide honest, safety-conscious recommendations based on whats best for long-term function and property protection.

    This business uses a bait and switch operation to charge you a fee to get an estimate and then provides you a service charge that is double what other industry professionals charge. Then you are stuck either paying them their "visit" fee and feeling like you've wasted your money or moving forward with an inflated predatory quote to use the money towards the service needed. Real professionals know their craft well enough to provide simple estimates for most things within a range. If you do a job long enough you've seen 95% of all things and can provide an estimate. Charging to come out so that you've hooked a customer into the aforementioned predicament is predatory in nature. Furthermore, I requested a call back to discuss this and wasn't called back by their management, but they had enough time to try to save face by responding to my ****** review.

    We would like to clarify that our $79 estimate/diagnostic fee is always communicated to customers before a ********************** is dispatched to their home. This fee covers the time and professional expertise required to assess the issue in person, especially since many plumbing problems can vary significantly depending on the specifics of the home and situation.
    Our goal is transparency, and we do not proceed with any work without the customers approval. Estimates are based on the actual conditions found during the visit, and we aim to provide fair, competitive pricing for the quality of service we offer. We understand that not every company charges an upfront fee, but many who do not will include such costs within the final invoice. We prefer to be open about our fees from the beginning.
    Regarding your request for a callback, we sincerely apologize if you did not receive a follow-up. That is not the level of service we strive to provide, and we will review this internally to ensure better communication moving forward.

    I have two business and have used 317 Plumber on several occasions to fix my issues. I am in the restaurant business, and when something goes wrong, you need it fixed immediately. Not only is 317 timely in responding to my needs, the job is handled quickly, efficiently, and at a fraction of the price of competitors in the area.Honest, fair, and responsive.I have been fortunate enough to not require their services at my home, but I know who I'm calling if the opportunity presents itself. As long as they keep providing excellent service, I have no choice but to continue to use them as MY plumber.Thank you 317 Plumber!!

    I left a previous review but it disappeared. I had two problems with ***** of this company. First, when the work was done on our sewer, I had two items go missing from inside our residence. I mentioned this to ***** and he assured me that he was the only person to come into our house when he tested the new system. His team had been on site since 8am. that day and left at 2p. We left our residence at 11am. and the items were in the house, I saw them. ***** was instructed to lock the front door after he left and to close it. Upon our return at 3p., the front door was locked and the items were missing. When I mentioned this to ***** he stated that he did not take them and provided excuses as to why he would not need to take them (an indicator of guilt). Eventually, I decided to leave a review of this incident as people need to know of it. I left a review on another site and ***** asked what it would take for me to remove it. I told him that it was not a matter of money. It was a matter of principle. The next evening he sent a message to my phone essentially threatening to post a negative incident from my past, when I was a police officer, if I did not remove the review. I replied that I would not remove the review. This "tactic" of his was quite surprising coming from someone who owns a business. I have never heard of a business owner threatening a costumer in such a fashion to remove a negative review. ***** has proven himself to be untrustworthy and dishonorable by the actions I have described. Do not use frequent this company.

    The system was improperly installed. We had to call them out to make repairs. They unearthed the soil in the backyard and not refuse to re-landscape the soil after they improperly installed the device. The office manager was unprofessional on the phone and refused to discuss the matter with me. This organization has no integrity. Members will steal from your residence and they cannot properly do jobs in the first place. Under no circumstances should you use these "people."
