  We hired this company to do a variety of remodel jobs. Privacy fence-poorly installed,nails sticking out everywhere-poles concreted with little concrete only 1 foot deep. Fence fell over in just over a year. Notified *****-no response to offer to fix it. Things not done to code-proper permits not even filed. Had a garage apt built. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. Used the plumbing from the previous washing machine. Built a platform to hide all plumbing. We have no access if something goes wrong. Sewer pipes were not dug as they told us in the contract would happen. Kitchen cabinets all have holes in the inside from where they had to move them. Flooring failed-they did redo it after Angies list threatened to take them off. Floor is separating again after only 6 months. Asked for a sunroom-gave pics-ended up with a room with two very small windows. Had to get it re-permitted correctly. They permitted it as a porch enclosure. Needed to be a room addition because it did not qualify as a sunroom. Which is what we asked for. Took us over 10 months to get them to fix or complete items. And that was only after Angies list stepped in. Work was still not done on a professional level. Not even close. We paid over ****** for all the work they did for us and we are now having to fix and or re-do a lot of what should have been done to begin with. Once they were paid, ***** basically did not reply back until Angies List insisted. Angies list would not let me post an honest review, stating they completed the work we asked for. The point is they did do some, quickly and poorly and it took us over a year to get it done. And now, things are failing again. Also we are very concerned that the garage apartment isnt up to code. ***** and his team are very nice guys. However, for us, they did not do a professional job. We expected more professional Work for the amount we had to pay them. Also, having to go thru months of stress to get them to comply. And still we have issues

  Hired ***** to put in new floors and trim. They made many mistakes and promised to come back and fix them. They never returned. Here is a list of some of the outstanding issues:1. My floor is literally a hill up to the fireplace, because they leveled it wrong. 2. The trim was supposed to be paint ready, but no, some trim had large hunks out of it. Nails were sticking out. They puttied over some, but as you can imagine, if you putty over a nail that is sticking out, they you just have a big lump on your trim!3. Trim in many places that is cut out wrong and doesnt match up. 4. Honestly do not think they knew how to install trim because the job was just shockingly bad. (I have pictures.)5. They over sanded my door and wrecked it. They complained about having to replace it, but did. But they hung the new door upside down!!! The door k*** is higher than all the other ones in the hallway. They filled in the holes where the door should have gone. They refuse to fix. It looks ridiculous. 6. They threw baseboards on top of my brand new desk. They scratched it in three places. 7. They leveled the hallway incorrectly. Very disappointed. I would not recommend hiring then

  The Aventus crew was great! Fast, thorough, and efficient. Very pleased with the job done. We had a new kitchen backsplash put in and new crown molding and painting done!

  The workmanship and crew are awesome but the communication is severely lacking.
