The customer stated that there was an area in the bedroom that was wet and had some drywall issues. Weathertight Roofing went to the customers house and inspected the issues. We got up in the attic and evaluated the area where the client stated the leak was and we found no signs of anything currently being wet. In the corner of the bedroom, it was noticed where some drywall had previously been wet and had started to flake off. This drywall appeared to have been wet some time ago. The area was not wet during the time of our inspection.

From the amount of drywall coming loose and the missing pieces, it appeared this area had been like this for some time. Weathertight went outside and looked at the roof. We did not see anything that would have caused any leak. The gutters were full of leaves and sticks. There was a bent piece of gutter apron, but this could not cause the leak as it was above the gutter where no water could reach.

The photos captured prior to Weathertight Roofing performing any work show that the light-colored gutter is dark in color and water stained from where water had been running over it. Photos were captured during the new roof installation on 10/3/2023 at 2:46 P.M.  In these photos, one can see water staining on the gutters and fascia where the leak was reported.  We also have a photo taken 10/3/2023 at 5:34 P.M. showing where the siding directly below the soffit is stained from water leaking around the area of the gutter and soffit.

In conclusion, the reported leak was from damage that occurred prior to the new roof replacement performed by Weathertight Roofing.

I've tried to take pictures put for some reason they won't send all I'm asking for is for the gutter to be replaced and the walls in the living room and bed room fixed

The gutter on this home does not need to be replaced. The gutters are new, in great condition, and are sloped properly. There is debris from trees in the gutter that needs to be removed. The damages to the interior of the home are old and pre-existing. When the damage to the drywall was observed post roof install, it was not actively wet. We have prior pictures before the roof was completed showing water stains on the siding directly below the gutter miter in this area. We've attached photos showing the previous gutter and stained siding in this area. This is not an active leak, and the staining is not from our workmanship.
