    In October 2024, my generator stopped working. My husband, ***** *******, called Generator Supercenter and hired them to look at our generator. In October, the generator technician came to our house and discovered the valve to the generator was not turned on. The valve was turned on, and it temporarily solved the problem. In November, my husband contacted Generator Supercenter again to let them know the problem was not fixed. He requested a technician to come back to our home. On November 7, 2024, a technician came to the home and decided that he needed to buy a tool to test the gas pressure. The technician believed that a part needed to be ordered, but needed the tool first. We received a confirmation email on November 8, 2024, from ******* ********, Generator Supercenter Assistant, about next steps regarding the tool. On November 12, 2024, a follow up email was sent by ***** ******* to ******* ********, to follow up about our generator. We did not hear anything back, so another follow email was sent on November 22, 2024. ******* responded that she can check to see if the tool was purchased. She also scheduled another visit from the technician for November 27, 2024. During the visit, ***** met with the technician and discussed ordering the needed part to fix the generator. On January 2, 2025, ***** followed up in an email asking for an update since there was no communication since November 27th. ******* responded and included ******* ***** ****** in the email, but we did not get a call or follow up email from anyone.On January 8, 2025, I emailed ******* and ***** expressing disappointment and a number for the owner. ******* responded with information from the November 27th visit. She stated that the battery was changed and, again, discussed the needed part. We followed up with an email explaining that the battery was not changed since the battery has a 2020 date, and we need to know if they can fix the problem or not. There has been no communication since.

    Thank you for bringing this to our attention.  We have since been back to their home on 1/29/25 for continued diagnostics.  We have ordered the replacement part from the manufacturer.  Unfortunately, with how old the generator is (13 years) parts are harder to come by. The part is on backorder and we expect to receive it at the end of March to first part of April.  I have reached out to the largest Generac dealer in the country to see if they happen to have one in stock.  I am disappointed in the slow responses and/or lack of a response from our team.  This has been addressed this morning with the management team.
