On 1/27/25 at approximately 2:00 pm. I was going through the Drive and Shine carwash. The exit door failed to open and the conveyor belt forced my vehicle into the door. I completed an incident report and was told I would receive a phone call within 48 hours. 48 hours later, a phone call never came, so I went to Drive and Shine and was told to obtain one estimate for the damage to my vehicle, on 1/29/25. On 2/24/25, I returned to Drive and Shine with the estimate and was told that I now needed a total of 3 estimates. On 2/26/25 Tre, manager, approved my single estimate via text message. On 2/27/25 I was told by Tre that the only payment they would make would be directly to the body shop for repairs. On 2/27/25, Tre advised me that three estimates was no longer required and my One estimate was approved. On 3/1/25 I received a text message from Tre to set up a meeting to discuss resolution of the damages. I spoke with Tre and asked why a meeting was necessary and why I could not just be paid. Tre advised that they do not pay individuals directly for the damages caused at their car wash. I explained that I have several other things going on, including purchasing a house, and that I want paid the full amount of the estimate and then I would release them from any other damages. Tre advised that's not how they do business.
