    Chimney 1 recently replaced my old chimney. I had other quotes, however, Chimney 1 was on time for the appointment. They were dressed professionally and were very thorough with their inspection. I am very pleased with the end result. I would recommend Chimney 1 for any masonry work.*************************

    We used Chimney 1 *** to have a Regency wood fireplace insert put in and it is not working the way it should they put a higher stack on top of the house it is ugly and makes the house look bad and did not fix the problem. then they tested our wood and said it was good and still has not fixed the problem and just because they called Regency and they say nothing is wrong with it without checking it out themselves they let it go. We sent them a letter to let them know if they didn't fix's it we would turn them over to the BBB so now they will not do the cleaning on it are fix the problem. The paperwork we have with it says the warranty is only valid if the company that installed it takes care of the service on it. So they need to fix this and take care of the problem.

    Hi ******************************** response to your review, we installed the wood stove insert you selected in January 2020. In February 2020, you called us and said that it was not burning right. We then came out and rechecked everything and did not find any issues with the unit. In March 2020, you contacted us again and said it was not burning right. We then contacted the manufacturer on your behalf. Based on your concerns, they determined it was user error. In April 2021, you contacted us regarding the same concerns. We again contacted the manufacturer and they came back with the same conclusion. They also provided you with a User Guide on how to properly use a wood insert with a catalyst. In July 2022, you contacted us to schedule service. However, we declined to provide any further service after we received your hostile and threatening letter last year. Additionally, the manufacturer does not restrict or specify who you choose to service the unit and therefore, does not affect your warranty.

    I like the way you say it is user error when your own employee checked our wood and the way we were using it and said we were doing it right. Then you added on the higher stack to see if it would work because you told us it might not be getting enough air venting and it still is not working right. So, you did know it was not working are you would not have tried to fix it with a higher stack. The way I look at it is we just got ripped off by you by not fixing this problem. So since we have to call someone else to fix this problem, I feel you should give some of our money back so we can get this fixed because it is obvious you don't know how to fix then.Thank you ***
