      1/31/25 visited for wedding dress consultation, paid $240 in full same day, to return with dress at later date 3/25 contacted ***** about not wanting services, requested refund. told to come in *** and get check. 3/31 Showed up 30 minutes after open to an empty shop. Called Jamil, said he could not give me check because he has girls for that. Said to text him a copy of the receipt, and check would be mailed to me w/in 2 weeks, and would receive refund confirmation 4/1 followed up on text due to no response. ***** replied yes we got it thanks4/18 called Jamil - I had not received confirmation or check. told he needed to check with the girls. Never received call back 5/13 followed up again with phone call to Jamil. Was told he would check with the check guy. Said he would reach back out to me in a day or 2. He did not 5/23 followed up again. Was told come in tomorrow. Got call that afternoon the guy you spoke to earlier was wrong, we are not open tomorrow, come in Monday there was no other guy, all correspondance was with Jamil 5/25 received text at 9:13pm To all our customers we will be closed Monday for memorial Day we will be back Tuesday AI do not respond. I respond - I was told to come in Mon, if I could not, my fianc would be in to pick up the check Wed. 5/27 received angry VM from ***** saying he will throw my check in the garbage if I do not pick up by Fri.5/28 fianc goes to get check, ***** calls police as he will not deal with anyone but me. I bring receipt and my ID, ***** gives me the attached check. Went to ************ to cash, was told the check is altered, and they wont take it. I go back to ***** to get a new check, was told he did not have any more. claimed he had this check waiting for me for 2 weeks, despite me watching him write this check, and dated for 5/28. Told him give me a new check or would be filing with small claims. He screamed get out, take me to court! Filing here first in hopes of an easier resolution

      On Friday, May 10, 2024 I took a suit in to be altered. The suit was new, never worn, and cost over $1000. I needed the hem of the trousers let down one inch. He measured the length and told me my trousers would be ready for pick up on May 14, 2024. When I picked them up, instead of lengthening the hem, he had cut an extra inch off. There was no way to fix this. He told me to go buy a new suit and he would pay for it since it was his fault. I bought a new suit and he is refusing to pay.

      I requested to have my 3 piece leather furniture cleaned and cushions restuff. ***** suggested dying furniture to make it look brand new. My furniture was in great shape just wanted it cleaned to make it look fresh again and cushions done. I agreed to have it dye as he suggested. I paid 1/2 down end of August $700? And was told call sept 30 to schedule to bring in furniture in which I did then he picked up furniture about a week later got my furniture back about 2 weeks after Thanksgiving, I paid bal over phone before they delivered as I was told to do. When I looked at my furniture I was very unhappy, look very blotchy with dark spots, sofa have some peeling, white overspray on wood. Furniture is ruined now I have to purchase new furniture, the furniture was still not dry they did a lousy job and my furniture didnt have those flaws so I want a refund and also felt I was mislead about dying because also not the same off white color even though I text him 9 pictures as he requested before he picked up furniture so he could match. He said color would be winter white I agreed because I thought that was the match, he was suppose to be the expert
